Put some respeck on his name @NYTimesDowd. You don’t know him like that. You 2 are not friends #PresidentObamaNotBarry
Exactly. Dowd is helping with the whitewash. She forgot to mention the 16m paid to Bill as an honorarium by a company doing biz with State. Their competitor paid Bill only $5m for “consulting”. Wonder who got the job? Then there are the secret meetings to gather foreign money for the Clinton Foundation and the rest of the graft via Bill and Hill’s so-called speeches.
That they are not. See my previous post. They are whitewashing the real criminality.
WUT???
“Perhaps Maureen doesnt know anybody that would vote for The Donald, in her elite social circle, and extends this certainty to include all of that territory once known as the United States of America.”
It sounds more like propaganda/psychological warfare. She casually mentions Clinton’s supposed inevitability as a given in order to fuel that perception and influence voters and her fellow Democrats in the media.
Beautiful, isn’t she?
Did you feel the stirrings of lust?
I would say shame on you but the Bible also says Judge Not.
The Bible is crystal-clear that photographs like that are wrong.
The Bible is crystal clear about weak and bitter souls claiming the authority of the Lord as well.
You’ll be in my prayers and I hope I’ll be in yours.
You’ve already been in my prayers.
Verses can’t just be pulled out of the Bible. They have to be interpreted using the rest of the Bible, and interpreted while acknowledging our need to surrender completely to God’s will. As Jesus prayed to His Father, “Not My will but Yours be done.”
The Bible teaches in many ways and places, in the New Testament alone, that to lust (choosing to engage in it) is wrong. And it also teaches in the New Testament, in many ways and places, that Christians are to speak out against such things as those photos.
You take more joy in convincing yourself of your rectitude than in spreading the joy of the Word.
You are tiresome and worse.
Scat!
“8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
“9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
“10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.” 1 Timothy 2
In the letters of the Apostles there is a lot of joy in the Lord. And there is also a lot of seriousness and severity.
The fruits of the world’s “gospel” that lust is either good or harmless at worst are everywhere today, and include fewer Christians and a people more resistant to the Gospel, which they consider “hateful.”
The way of the Lord (the fruit of the Spirit) is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. (Galatians 5)
