Donald Trump is formally vetting a retired general as a potential running mate, but the 33-year Army veteran's views on social issues are sure to draw an outcry from Republicans already wary about Trump's conservative credentials.
Retired Lt. Gen Michael T. Flynn, who most recently served as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, is being vetted as a last-minute addition to Trump's pool of possible vice presidential picks, NBC News confirms.

I guess there's a lot of money to be made by pumping out daily stories on the latest speculation/wild-ass-guess as to who Trump might pick.
Aside from a seismic shift abortion is a done deal in the States. There is no reason for a Republican to whine about needing it unless they wanted to damage the party.
I saw it. It’s unfortunate IMHO that he’s going out and doing interviews as he’s being vetted. To me, he’s an ideal pick for Trump’s VP and it was obvious in the interview that he hasn’t thought about and doesn’t give a crap about these kinds of litmus test social issues. He’s interested in protecting America against what he’s experienced first hand for many years and from a variety of angles as an EXISTENTIAL THREAT to our way of life. I bet he’s persuadable on abortion, but it just hasn’t been on his radar. But yes, he was clearly pro-choice in this interview.
um...he said this today on ABC’s “THIS Week”.
This guy is an admitted lifetime RAT and he hasn’t said if he’s changed his registration.
He did say in an interview that he believes a woman should have the right to choose.
The “Right To Kill Your Own Offspring” isn’t something I can support either. Let’s hope this isn’t true.

I don’t think that it was was being said at all. I think there is real concern on this issue as it goes against the belief of the right. Which is what Trump is running his ticket on. To pull in a more liberal VP would not be a conservative move. Something fishy here.
