She said the attack on the march in Dallas, which killed five officers and injured seven others, wouldn't deter her from demonstrating again.

Say what?

Could you PLEASE stop with the childish name calling? This woman is speaking from the heart and thanking the officers. She is exactly who needs to continue speaking up so that we can have some serious dialog about real problems...and being called names is just going to push her away from being part of the solution!

She has five black sons - her voice needs to be heard. Can you imagine what an impact they could have if they started speaking positively about the police to their friends and family?

I welcome honest conversations with ANYONE who wants to find common ground and stop the irrational hatred and division that is killing far too many people!

Taylor, who is black, said she went to the march to protest the killings of black men by police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and outside St. Paul, Minnesota, and previous encounters between blacks and police. She said the attack on the march in Dallas, which killed five officers and injured seven others, wouldn't deter her from demonstrating again. She wants her sons — ages 12, 13, 15 and 17 — to know it was an isolated incident.

So she's going to continue protesting police shootings even though she's always held police in high regard? why not concede that the shootings she is protesting are at most 'isolated incidents' and wildly spun into a grand conspiracy by race baiters.

She’s not the brightest bulb in the fixture but she at least realized those LEOs may have saved her and her sons life and thanked them.

Let me get this straight. Fatally shot officer’s thoughts were for her safety. As he falls, he tells her to run away from the gunfire. She does not moderate her position, but vows to go to another gathering protesting the police to teach her son what?

That Police are just itching to kill Blacks? Evidence to the contrary excluded. Great job MOM! Way to keep the narrative going.

Do they have snowplows down there? Drop the blade and clear the road.

Can't disagree with that. This is not a simple binary issue.

I support the cops, they have a tough and generally thankless job. They rarely get any positive recognition for keeping our streets and cities out of the sewer.

Given all that, there are bound to be some events that show excessive force was applied although, IMO very few of those are done with malice or racism at their core. They are mostly related to a scared guy with a gun that wants to go home at the end of their shift.

Twenty-twenty hindsight does not make something like that a crime so much as an unfortunate incident. Prosecutors and politicians have shown themselves to be more part of the problem by seeking publicity at the expense of supporting their own police agencies making them vulnerable to events like the assassinations of police in Dallas.

Well, I suppose that would be one way to clear the problem.
