A 24-year-old asylum seeker from Iran made an initial court appearance on Monday to face charges of having raped a 19-year-old woman over the weekend.

The assault took place in the southern Jutland town of Haderslev, where local Danish women earlier this year reported that they had been sexually harassed by asylum seekers.

What is the rationale for muslim immigration to a Scandanavian country like Denmark where almost 100% of the population has a common heritage and religion?

It's not as if they can expect muslims to adapt to their culture, religion or even their climate.

And it's not as if they expect muslims to bring skills or a work ethic that will add to the quality of life in Denmark.

All that Denmark, and any other western country, can expect from muslim immigration is rising crime, a larger welfare bill and a threat to the existing culture and way of life.
