A dozen people have been injured as a bomb blast hits a city in southern Germany.
Local authorities said the attacker blew himself up after being turned away from the music event. He was a 27-year-old Syrian who had been denied asylum and is believed to have attempted suicide twice before. Authorities evacuated 2,500 people from the area.
A team of special police force was dispatched to the area. It was the fourth violent incident in Germany in a week and came as the country is still reeling from a shooting rampage in the city of Munich that left 9 people dead.
It’s difficult to unravel his motive.
