Trump Jr. tweets ironically that Obama plagiarized him on Wednesday. Washington Post feels obliged to respond. Trump Sr. campaign gets another few column inches of free publicity.

Trump sarcastically asks Russia or anyone who might have Hillary’s 30,000 erased yoga routines and cookie recipes to hand them over in return for an attaboy from the US press. The entire press goes bonkers with a false narrative. Anyone who can read or hear knows it’s a false narrative. And Trump gets thousands of column inches of free publicity.

The press does not know how to recognize irony and sarcasm directed at them. Extremist zealots seldom do.
