Sounds like Jonestown.
“The champions of socialism call themselves progressives, but they recommend a system which is characterized by rigid observance of routine and by a resistance to every kind of improvement. They call themselves liberals, but they are intent upon abolishing liberty. They call themselves democrats, but they yearn for dictatorship. They call themselves revolutionaries, but they want to make the government omnipotent. They promise the blessings of the Garden of Eden, but they plan to transform the world into a gigantic post office. Every man but one a subordinate clerk in a bureau.”
— Ludwig von Mises
Obama beat his friends in Venezuela to that socialist goal, forced labor. However, Venezuela may beat him on volume. For now.
Sounds like China and North Korea.
VENEZUELA - The joint vision of BERNIE/HILLARY for “their”
AMERICA of the FUTURE! A socialist paradise.

Like much of Latin America, I suspect many of the “Creoles” (Spanish-descended people) that still remain there have already gotten their children out. As these countries delve deeper into communism, the lighter-hued who ran them in the past are the first to flee - leaving behind darker, poorer, less-educated populations with hands outstretched to “white” countries. We’re watching the “Cubanization” of much of Latin America; Ecuador has used the US$ as currency for years now since they’ve veered leftwards. Sucres have joined Venezuelan Bolivares and Zimbabwean pounds (as well as French Francs, Italian Lira, Spanish Pesetas) as testaments to socialist ruin...
