The Turkish Incirlik airbase in Adana, Turkey, which houses NATO forces, U.S. forces and at least 50 nuclear devices, experienced massive protests this week, yet the media and President Barack Obama have been conspicuously silent.

He won’t anger his true love and doesn’t care about us.
“Massive Protests” of 7,000 people properly herded by the Turkish Army is a far cry from “under siege” as seems to be the meme in the drivel press.
And now his friend erdogan has 50 nuclear weapons
Haven’t seen this outside RT, fwiw.
The base has been in the media lately in relation to the Turkish coup that took place on July 15. Turkish prosecutors and police have conducted searches of the base and detained air base commander Gen. Bekir Ercan Van there along with a dozen officers of lower rank who were accused of being part of the coup.
This was something mentioned in the audio from the post below.
They are still searching for an appropriate youtube to blame, and youtuber guy to jail.
This is the second “siege” taken amid rumors of a second coup attempt. Turkish troops entered and exited the base. Rumors are the hot news in the ME and acted on as reliable.
Those tactical nukes should have been moved awhile back. Losing control of them is not an option. Although it would not shock me to find out that Omuslim has donated them to the new caliphate.
I keep seeing post like this.
I also saw post that all was normal. Electricity and water had been restored and we were even resuming flights out.
Does anyone have a RELIABLE source of info. One thread I was following actually had the facebook page of the base which had a post on it requesting bogus reports stop.
I’m sure they are as safe as an American consulate.
No, Erdogan and the Turks don’t own the weapons. Sharing means the host country trains and equips aircraft for deliveries, and gets a vote on use from their soil. We can provide them to them if we wish.
But no, that old sharing program isn’t that we just hand them nukes.
I knew it I knew it............i heard rumblings early yesterday- not good people, not good.
Erdogan is exceeding his limits. Someone needs to step in and hopefully it won’t be John Kerry
Erdogan is now offically bat-sh*t crazed along with revoking 50,000 Turkish citizen passports.
Only the Daily Mail UK had the story
Facebook is propaganda.
Pics from last night at link, does not look like “all is normal” :
“Im sure they are as safe as an American consulate.”
The Clintons and all other corrupted shakedown artists are trying to make a deal with Erdogan. Possibly this time however, the US is the party that will be shaken down.
Is there a website to go to (other than FB or Twitter) for current updates of what is going on in Turkey?
I’m sure FB is blocked but it’s not all inclusive anyway neither is Twitter-they seem to be the continual last gasp in in publishing fair and balanced news reporting.
Is there someone on the ground who can telephone out & give updates for a web address?
Is or has a web address been established for uncensored information coming out of Turkey to be published?
Back to normal.
Shut down lasted 4 hours.
It would be nice if the DoD would provide regular status reports on situations like this.
Obama says “Erdogan was democratically elected...and is therefore king....just like me”.
