Do not think that is a rail mounted missile. No exhaust immediately from a Sparrow or Phoenix (gone) either.
Only Sidewinder and AMRAAM would have exhaust on lunch.

Probably set up for different loading. Looks like these newfangled fighters are a lot more customizable than the old F-4 was.
