Not to worry, the Khan job is steadily being exposed.

I'd rather it just go away.

This may have been a smart move on Trump’s part. I’ll bet he has seen internal polls and knows who is going to win. As President, he cannot alienate people in his own party and expect to get anything done. Even though they have fought him, this puts them on the spot.

TRUMP just check mated the rhinos, the media and the trump critics.

We can either be thrilled he continues to fight and denounce rhinos ...or he can win the ELECTION. Not both. He doesn’t need freepes or the people at his rallies.

The only people that count now Are the sliver of independents.

Way too soon to tell. He could support them to the election, and then marginalize them out of office after winning the presidency.

Damn.

Don't be discouraged. I'm originally from Ryan's district, and per a prior visit there, there are tons of Nehlen signs there. Ingraham and Coulter have both campaigned for Nehlen, and even Nehlen understands that Trump's endorsement of Ryan is just formality and doesn't mean that Nehlen supporters should defect to Ryan. If Nehlen doesn't win, be appreciative that he made Ryan crap his underoos and hopefully Ryan will come back to being the conservative policy wonk that he set out to be.

Indeed!
Mr.Trump’s heart is not in this speech tonight.
.....we all know him well enough to know this.

He does not compromise.......I will not forsake him.

I think he is struggling through this whole speech......he KNOWS the let down many are feeling.

GOD BLESS HIM

But if anyone thinks the press will give him any kudos or stop demonizing him.......we know they won’t
He knows they won’t.

Let’s just get him Elected!

Win the White House first and deal with GOPe later. Trump MUST beat Hillary or nothing else will matter. Trump is being smart. Bad tasting medicine often cures what ails you.

He know Ryan and McCain are going to win, and he will A) have to deal with them in congress and B) Get these stories off the table.
I think IF he thought Ryan and McCain could be ousted like Cantor was, he would have gone after them. But the rule is, if you take a shot at the king, make sure you get him.
There is nothing to be gained other than creating more noise. I would love it if they both lost, but I am sure Trump knows what the internal polls are...Wisconsin voted for Obama after all.
....
Thank you for your reasoned, salient answer. Trump also knows we trust him and are smart enough to figure this out.

Now I know how the Bernie people felt when he bent his knee to Hillary. This man spent the primaries running against the establishment. He ran against it, and he didn’t care what the establishment had to say. He was loyal to people who were loyal to him. John McCain and Paul Ryan have done nothing but say they’ll vote for Trump but trash him any chance they get. They have policy differences and will be a thorn in his side in my opinion. He had people like Ward and Nehlen who are against the establishment and who have defended him for months when the establishment was attacking him. It will take no time at all for them to run back to the media the next time Trump says something the media finds controversial or to trash him behind closed doors to their high powered donors and establishment friends. This was a very disappointing move, and Reince (who should be neutral as head of the GOP, Newt, Rudy, Pence, Manafort, and others shouldn’t have gotten to him. You know when you endorse them? Endorse them if they win their primary.

There is something going on for Trump to do this, what I don’t know, but he has always been a Gentleman, he talked with the GOP in Washington twice and none of them said a word about supporting Trump...now Trump extends the ‘olive branch’ being the Gentleman he is and was brought up to be, he’s not running ‘against’ these people, he is running ‘against the Clinton Machine’ and maybe this is one way to gather the ‘insiders’ together, or maybe by endorsing RINO RYAN and the others, they will lose...could happen...

What ever his reason, I do NOT doubt his decisions, never have for a year and won’t start now...

Trump should have said “I think McCain should be senator for life. Now I expect Kasich to endorse me.”

The truth is if McCain wins he will be senator for life.

To you and the other freezers wetting their shorts over this... below is a quote from someone’s twitter post which sums up this “endorsement” perfectly..

“Trump served the ball. They either return it or publicly crash & burn. Just like Cruz”

Polls I saw indicated Ryan has no problem winning. Trump can’t cut off his nose. We need unity and backing a loser won’t get us there. He obviously didn’t want to do this but there are way bigger issues at stake.

"I think we have been shafted again."

When it comes to trump, like I said in a earlier post, I hope I'm wrong but I smell a rat...

Ain't no way he should have endorsed the quisling know as Ryan....

I think trump will change his principles as fast as he changes his hat..!

He has to give to get. Such is the nature of this system we are trying to start to take back.

There is only so far you can go without running into the party’s hard wall, and this is one where he has to get passed.

Sanders found that out the hard way.

If the people in those states dont want these two, then they can deal with them. We have bigger fish to fry.
