‘Where are those screaming that such a requirement places an undue burden on minorities and women?”

Whoa, watch it there you are making sense.

require photo IDs to buy e-cigarettes

How dare they disenfranchise e-cig buyers by requiring ID!

I never understood why our rulers didn’t want e-cigs

And I am sure that the Chinese manufacturers will be lined up (with the $1 million fee) to have their products approved by the FDA. This includes any changes they make to the product in the future.

The pharmaceutical COMPANY that makes all the Nicorette products and the very dangerous drug Chantix lobbied for this, and won.

Way to get played by the government.

“Good for you (and all others who like seeing others suffer early, horrible deaths).

Huh?

Are you saying that if you don’t smoke you’ll live a long time and have an easy death?

Maybe. But do you know of any states that currently permit sale of e-cigs or nicotine gum to those under 18?

<>Until now, e-cigarettes and other alternative tobacco products have gone unregulated by the FDA, despite a 2009 law that granted the agency the authority to govern any tobacco sold in the United States.<>

Oh, a government was assigned the power to make law. How convenient . . . and unconstitutional.

Apparently a 18650 li-ion battery and toothpaste are tobacco under FDA guidelines.

E- cigs are not sold in Mississippi or Alabama to under 18. I actually think it’s 19. They won’t even let me bring my 16 year old daughter in the store with me. I have to leave her in the car.
