WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Tuesday floated a theory that the Democratic National Committee staffer who was shot dead in the streets of Washington last month had been targeted because the operative was an informant.
In an interview on Dutch television, the Australian cyberactivist invoked the unsolved killing of Seth Rich, 27, earlier this summer to illustrate the risks of being a source for his organization.
Citing WikiLeaks protocol, Assange refused to confirm whether or not Rich was in fact a source for WikiLeaks, which has released thousands of internal DNC emails, some of them politically embarrassing. Experts and U.S. government officials reportedly believe that hackers linked to the Russian government infiltrated the DNC and gave the email trove to WikiLeaks.
But Assange was apparently interested in hinting about an even darker theory.
“Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material, and often very significant risks. There’s a 27-year-old, works for the DNC, who was shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington,” Assange said on Nieuwsuur. BuzzFeed drew more attention to the interview in the U.S.

Finally is right. The media wanted to stir the pot on the DNC hack, then they ignore this.
I believe that Assange stated that the DNC “hacking” was a LEAK, not a hacking by the Russians, right after it was first made public that something had occurred, like even before DWS resigned. It was the MSM that took the Russian hacking meme to the level of having it be the accepted “truth”.
Now the MSM (not that they would attempt to correct themselves) would have to unwind many hours of broadcast scripts, in order to attempt to get to the truth.

I would bet that the DNC is a tide pool of rampant paranoia right now.
He's offering $20,000 reward to whomever identifies the killer.

That is correct. Assange says Clinton/Media deliberately conflating a batch of hacked material released by other outlets with the pristine Wikileak material.
The batch not related to Wikileaks is the one that had supposedly Russian metadata — not the Wikileaks batch.
Wikileaks batch was a leak, according to Assange. Possibly Seth Rich.

That was the story that DWS and the DNC were promoting. “It’s the Russians! It’s the Russians!”
What was she suppose to say : We bumped him off to keep him quiet just like HRC told us to do ?”
Or I heard they were going to the FBI, so what if this guy instead got connected to a political contact that got him killed?
By saying its the Russians it took the focus OFF of the DNC and put it on the Russians and Trump..that way whatever comes out next about Clinton the media can say “See, those Russians are liars they cant be trusted they are making this stuff up”

But Julian is letting us all feel he has more info. If he received info from Seth he helped cause his death. Seth’s life and death should mean something to him. Julian should let it all out or shut the fu** up.
