Investigators discovered this month that at least four U.N. peacekeepers in the Central African Republic allegedly paid girls as little as 50 cents in exchange for sex.
The most recent allegations involve at least four peacekeepers who are accused of paying girls as young as 13 for sex at a camp for the internally displaced next to the international airport in Bangui, the capital. The site, known as M’poko camp, is home to 20,000 people, mostly Christians. It is a vast agglomeration of white tents surrounding old, decaying airplanes, just yards from the airport runway.
The United Nations was also strongly criticized for failing to react to offenses by peacekeepers in the country. As many as 14 troops from France, Chad and Equatorial Guinea allegedly raped and sodomized six boys between the ages of 9 and 15 in 2013 and 2014, before the U.N. mission formally began. The United Nations took no action after learning about the cases until a whistleblower leaked an internal U.N. investigation to French authorities, according to U.N. officials.

No American in extemis in foreign lands can expect any help from a US government controlled by the likes of JarrettObama or AbedinClinton. If you leave the confines of US borders (what is left of them), you are truly on your own. The US foreign service is for the sole support and succor of the uniParty elite.
We wonder how we might begin to make cuts in spending. We could discontinue funding for the UN.
Those nations are cesspools. I would never render aid to those unwilling to climb out of the filth.

UN peacekeepers have long been a mixed bag, depending upon who contributes troops and who is in command.
I am not surprised that they declined to intervene. Some of them may have been jealous that the militia got their first.
As to the Embassy, no Embassy that I am aware of has the capability to project force outside the walls of US facilities. When you are in a foreign country, you are subject to the whims of whoever is in control.

ANY US aid worker or just US citizen who goes to one of these Muslim hellholes is an IDIOT. DOUBLE IDIOTS if they are female.
Not saying they deserve what happened to them, but they are IDIOTS.
The US should have sent in a rapid response force and butchered the rapists. But of course, under Obama, I’m sure that was not permitted.
Side note: Have a young female Christian friend who was thinking about going to the Middle East for a vacation: Cairo or Dubai. I explained what might happen to her, that wearing her cross could get her arrested, raped, killed, or all three, etc. She was shocked. Fortunately, she believed me.
Now she and her boyfriend are going to Europe (there are still some nice places in Europe).
Isn’t it obvious to the fools that go to these places that they are not wanted? The people there live like that because the choose to live like that.
