Every one of them is a college graduate.

This simply is not true. Even before underclassmen were able to declare themselves eligible for the NFL draft, there was nothing that required players to actually complete a degree in their four years playing in the NCAA.

I've seen figures indicating that about half of the players in the NFL have college degrees, and I'm sure many of those degrees are in fields that only exist to keep college players eligible to play.

If done the right way, it’s a very good idea. Give basic firearms safety training, including training on how the various types of firearms work, including features of different brands, like Glock vs, Beretta, firearms laws of various states, given the many places the players will be flying to, and the importance of their avoiding criminal records. Then actually include some range time with common hand guns.

In NYC it’s the difference just being a dumb ass who shot yourself and being a dumb ass in jail for 2 years after shooting yourself.

The NFL should teach “thug avoidance conduct” instead...oh, wait...never mind.
