I had to check out the DUmmies on this and you were hilariously right! Everyone thought it was the Klan (because Faux News promotes hate...or something) or El Salvador rebels. And when someone put up the photo of a petty criminal...the posts stopped cold.

The inmate(s) responsible for taking this animal down could be given additional time off for good behavior or extra ‘benefits’ behind bars (better food, extra TV privileges, etc.).

That is a notion that might be explored with whomever might still be the legal contact for those particular inmates. I do think a ‘third party’ action might work, in affording anything towards the families, kids, or any kin so designated. Although, ‘the various New York families’ have done this in the past, with many legal reprisals. Good food for ponderances.
