10,000th Syrian Reaches US This Week in Resettlement Program

The U.S. will reach its target this week of taking in 10,000 Syrian war refugees in a year-old resettlement program, the U.S. ambassador to Jordan said Sunday, after meeting families headed to California and Virginia.

The resettlement program has emerged as an issue in the U.S. presidential campaign, with Republican nominee Donald Trump alleging displaced Syrians pose a potential security threat.

AP reports this like we should be celebrating.

"Refugees are the most thoroughly screened category of travelers to the United States, and Syrian refugees are subject to even greater scrutiny," she {Alice Wells, the U.S. ambassador to Jordan} said.

Uh, huh.

Syrian Christians? I have no problem with that.The Christians of the Middle East (the ones who haven't been beheaded or driven out) are outstanding,brave,decent people.

Just as the failed Affordable Care Act will forever be remembered as “Obamacare”, we need to come up with a term that inextricably links these refugees to Barack Hussein Obama. By doing so, when they are involved in crimes, or worse, terrorist acts, the public will immediately know that it was Barack Hussein Obama who brought them here to commit these acts. It must be forever tied to his legacy. Any suggestions?
