Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin reveals in Vogue today that her Muslim faith helped her deal with her husband Anthony Weiner after news of his perverted online behavior ruined his political career. “I tried to block out all the noise and move on with my life,” Abedin says, as the piece notes that she cited her Muslim faith to help her as well as a “a really supportive group of friends and colleagues” after the disturbing revelations that went public.

Well this morning’s news is that she is finally separating from Carlos Danger. Wonder who will take custody of the 2 yr. old son. I wouldn’t want Weiner raising him, if he were mine, but Huma is too busy to raise a kid, but maybe come November she’ll have a lot of free time.

Muslim women are not required to wear Hijab. It is supposed to be a personal decision to show humility before their god Allah/Satan. However, something tells me that most are forced to do these, either by physical threat or shamed.
Wonder why Hume thought she needed to talk about it in Vogue? If I were going to get a separation, I’d think (a) if I tell about it publicly, I’m conceitedly presuming that others are interested, and (b) the audience will not benefit by what I would say. I’d be wasting their time whether they realized it or not.
