Wendell, I was the sole caregiver to my beloved husband before Parkinson’s took him from life.

He had several episodes when he lost complete control of his muscles, and needed several strong men to get him up from a complete collapse. He would have totally rigid muscles at times, and couldn’t get up from a chair without help.

I had to call the EMTs twice when he was unable to move, but he never lost consciousness. His body just wouldn’t get signals from his brain, and it was so distressing for this brilliant man to be unable to move.

He also hated my constant request that he keep drinking water to keep hydrated. He insisted that he wasn’t thirsty, and that he couldn’t drink more than a sip or two of water.

Hillary shows many of the symptoms that I noticed in my husband, bur I am not qualified to diagnose her. I hope that isn’t what her underlying health issue is, but it is must be more than we are being told.

She didn’t stumble off that curb. She wasn’t in control of her muscles, and seemed to my eye to be having an episode of total loss of muscular control.

My husband also has major problems with feeling either way too hot or way too cold, in spite of a normal room temperature. He could be burning up in a cool room, or freezing in a warm room. His Parkinson’s affected his autonomic nervous system as well has his ability to move.

I feel sorry for those who are around her, and have to manage her symptoms. If she has the beginnings of Parkinson’s dementia, she may be losing executive function, but only a loved one close to her would recognize this.

It could explain her poor judgement in her calling half of those who support Trump “deplorable”. Those with Parkinson’s dementia can be very emphatic, and appear logical to those who do not know them well, but they make very poor decisions about reality, as they slowly lose all executive function.

They seem lucid, can give apparently reasonable explanations for inexplicable behavior, and can rise to the occasion when required, fooling those around them to think they are “just fine”, and it is those around them who just do not understand , or who have let them down in accomplishing some goal.

It all depends on what portion of the brain is being affected the most. Rationalizing with the better parts of the brain can cover a lot of the faltering parts of the brain, sadly.

“You can read, correct? Tamburello had a father with Parkinsons. I believe he has the right to say what he damn well feels if he has some first hand knowledge about some of the symptoms of the disease.”

I agree with you. His father had it and he lived with it. IMHO he has first hand knowledge.

People with Parkinson’s have a very typical way of walking - a bit of a shuffle towards the end.

HIllary, OTOH, walks very upright and almost with a strut. I am not sure though if these videos are showing only a very short walk. At any rate. she does not appear demonstrate motor movements typical of Parkinson’s Disease.

However, on Sunday at the 911 event, she did appear to have a rigidness to her body. It was difficult to see because of all the people surrounding her, but when they were moving her into the vehicle, she definitely collapsed.

I have a relative who is suffering from brain stem deterioration due to high radiation treatments he had as a teenager following the removal of a malignant brain tumor. For the past year he has suffered some of the symptoms of Parkinson’s although he does not have P. It includes occasional seizures, freezing of his motor movements, diazepam medication, etc. Perhaps Hillary’s problems are the aftermath of her serious concussion 4 years ago.

So, I think it would be better if we had the goof Johnson in the debates as well. If we have more people in the debates, it is more likely that a Parkinson’s patient like Hitlery will become overwhelmed and suffer a brain freeze or tremor when there are multiple conversations.

She can make those 30 minute speeches because she is probably very proficient with her ear piece. On one of the wikileak exposed email, it shows one from Huma asking if Hillary remembered her ear piece, or should Huma pick it up.

L-dopa brain freeze dyskinesia.
Typical of Parkinson’s patient on L-dopa for a long time.

“Democrats will point to her and say Parkinson’s is no big deal.”

The Democrats will have own up to it and expalin the lies. Almost too late.

“Rigidity”

That’s what I saw on the video as she was waiting for the Van to pick her up. She was standing - rigid - and she could not even take steps off the curb .. that’s why she slipped slightly, lost her shoe, and they had to carry her into the van.

So, when she was Sec of State, she had her staff research a new drug for Parkinson’s .. which I find very interesting. As long ago as that .. she knew she had Parkinson’s .. and she’s managed to hide it all this time.

PROVING HOW DECEIPTFUL SHE REALLY IS.

Each time I’ve watched the video, I have literally shuddered at the three seconds before the push. I have seen my mother do the same thing - at 86 shortly before her death. Hillary is not well.

First. God bless you for your wonderful caring love of your husband. I am sorry.
Now, let me confide that my father died of end stage Parkinson’s.I was very close. As you undoubtedly know, Parkinson’s is insidious and different in its symptom. Just typing this makes me emotional. . My dad was a very wonderful and successful man. He was brilliant and articulate. I ,like you, watched my loved one become unable to even talk or eat. . He has non tremor Parkinson’s but long onset motor skill deterioration. I never saw a seizure but I had forgotten that it is so different for other types of the disease. I generalized from my experience with him.
You bring to light that Seizures do occur with many Parkinson’s sufferers. I now accept that.
Thank you for sharing. a year after Dad died I had such great dreams where he was strong and young and talking to me again. I cherish those memories. God Bless . Enjoy this day.

Thanks for your note, Wendle, and for sharing your experience with your Dad. I know how you feel about even typing about it, for it brings back so many painful emotions that we all endured during the downhill slide of this terrible disease.

You are right that it affects people so differently, and my husband also had the non-tremor type of Parkinson’s.

I do not respect Hillary Clinton in any way, but wouldn’t wish Parkinson’s on her, or anyone. Lewy Body disease is even worse, and that also has to be considered as a potential diagnosis, even though it cannot be accurately determined until after death.

Whether it is Parkinson’s or not, only a neurologist is qualified to determine that. It could also be related to her stroke - and again, we will have to wait and see how things develop.
