Potty-mouthed Philippine President Duterte gives E.U. the middle finger

The new leader of the Philippines is in a league of his own when it comes to presidential profanity. Rodrigo Duterte's favorite phrase, which translates roughly to "son of a whore," has been deployed against the likes of President Obama and Pope Francis. On Tuesday, during a speech to local business executives in his hometown of Davao City, he took aim at the European Union with irreverent gusto.

The E.U.'s parliament recently told Duterte to "put an end" to the killings of drug suspects, which human rights groups say has claimed the lives of more than 2,400 people.

"I have read the condemnation of the European Union. I'm telling them, 'F--- you,' " Duterte said in a mix of Filipino and English.

"I repeat it, 'F--- you!' " said Duterte as he assumed a deadpan look, raised his right hand and unfurled his middle finger. The audience applauded.

Well there you have it. Out in the open and no PC. I guess the 7000 Islands of the Phillipines liked him and voted him in. So.... I’m glad the guy is taking ownership of the problem and isn’t asking the United Nations to fix them.

On the one hand, it’s somewhat refreshing to see a 3rd world politician refuse to kowtow to the globalists. On the other hand, this guy represents a new low in terms of introducing vulgarity and crassness into the general culture. He’s not someone anyone should want their kids to emulate.

How unpolished of him. Doesn’t he understand that the EU is supposed to set the rules for life in the Philippines?

Huey Chavez set the bar pretty low, but on the whole I have to agree.

“He’s not someone anyone should want their kids to emulate.”

What a pant load! It’s time our “children” were made to understand what a passel of turds we have across the world for leaders. An in the preceeding post we “learn,” that 70% of Americans “are concerned” about Trump’s rhetoric. We need to get serious about what is serious, and it isn’t the direct language both Trump and Duerte use.

Duterte may be channeling Vlad Putin-but I
grudgingly have to admire his macho in-your-face response to the EU’s whiny demands-really shows what a bunch of sanctimonious assh***s they are...

Yeah, he called Barry Soetoro a son-of-a-whore, and is doing his best to piss off the UN.

This guy is trying real hard to make me like him.

I've worked for lots of bosses. There were namby-pamby bosses who were nice but accomplished nothing. And there were a$$h*les who screamed their heads off but got great results. I learned to respect the a$$h*les who got things done, at least you knew they were making sure the business ran like clockwork and they defended their employees - these bosses I respected.

There were bosses between the two opposites who acted nice but lied, played the blame game making workers out as scapegoats while placating outside connections, and only furthered their own aims - Hillary Clinton comes to mind. Donald Trump is a refreshing change.

We cannot imagine what has happened in places like Colombia and the Philippines. I have very mixed feelings about Duterte, but he seems to be taking the “War on Drugs” idea VERY literally. A proper war, of course, is a prelude to victory and peace.

This has always been a crass and vulgar world-it is just out in the open again after about 150 years of people putting a Pollyanna face on it by avoiding the reality of the stiff middle finger, profanity and brawls in public-at least it shows what someone really thinks-I’d be much more concerned if my kids adopted the rosy PC liberal attitude and language-fortunately, they did not...

“He’s not someone anyone should want their kids to emulate.”

I can think of dozens of American role models in entertainment and sports that far more dangerous to our kids.

I’d rather have someone (who you call) vulgar and crass who resists tyranny and the NWO, thereby championing independence, than an equally ‘vulgar and crass’ entertainer or athlete who’s leading our kids down the dead end road of drugs, dependency, and slothfulness.

Don’t make the mistake of equating being ‘nice’ with being ‘good’.

Yesterday, my 43 year old son came to my house and saw his 16 year old brother eating a hot dog with ketchup on it and said to him, “What are you, some kinda queer”?

No rosy P.C. there.

This is the populist attitude in the country.
Society in the Phils is on the whole “nice” to a fault, whether it be the upper or lower class. Duterte has been acting as something of a relief valve for, well, a whole lot of pent up frustration, with poverty, corruption, crime, and inferiority complexes of all kinds.

Hence his really immense popularity. He may be an a**h***, but for now he is their a**h***.

Duterte is a guy that has literally challenged Trump to a fistfight. How is that getting serious about what is serious?

That is hilarious! The last time I saw anyone-straight, LGBTXYZ or whatever-eat a hotdog with anything but chili or some variety of mustard on it was when I was about 10 years old, and it was a female cousin...

How about a straight-shooter who is honest, competent, aggressive in business yet respectful of humans?

That should not be too much to expect.....
