Never before has a presidential election seen a greater contrast in the attitudes of the major candidates towards climate change.
Hillary Clinton told delegates at July’s Democratic National Convention that man-made climate change is “an urgent threat and a defining challenge of our time.” Yet Donald Trump calls Clinton’s approach an "extreme, reckless anti-energy agenda," and he told Fox News on July 26 that man-made climate change "could have a minor impact, but nothing, nothing [comparable] to what they're talking about."
To determine which position is most reasonable, and what -- if any -- climate change mitigation policy is needed, we need a way of properly assessing the overall risk of man-made climate change. It is not enough to simply say that the consequences of catastrophic climate change would be so dire that any and all actions to avert it are justified. We need to actually take into account the probability of such events occurring in the foreseeable future.
We conduct risk assessment in everyday life, of course. Yet for some reason, we don’t conduct it on this issue.

He is right, IMHO, but he played it down last night.
Early in the debate, HRC said, “My opponent believes climate change is a hoax”. Trump didn’t take the bait and respond to that, although he could have said, “It is!”
"It's a scam, like everything else she does."
(Yeah, too harsh for the debate, but how I feel about it.)
My response would be “If human beings have the power to change the climate, then I never want to again hear that we are not able to build a damn wall to secure our southern border!”

Domestic and international policy should be “Clean up after yourselves “ for both government and industry. A sane policy for insuring natural preserves as well. What Brazil has done is crazy and counterproductive.

First of all, “climate change” is a sneaky misnomer put out by the Big Government crooks. What they really mean is “catastrophic man made global warming.”
I’m well aware of that.

Look at a baseball at 50 feet and a basketball at arm’s length, that’s a pretty good comparison.
The sun controls the atmospheric conditions of every planet. More specifically, solar energy output has a greater influence on this planet’s climate than anything puny humans can ever do. When solar energy is at a high level, climate tends to be warmer, lower solar energy levels and fewer sunspots always result in harsh winters.
Look up Dalton Minimum and Maunder Minimum, and watch Dark Winter. Climate change is a hoax, designed to allow governments to tax us to death and scare us into believing it’s a global emergency that can only be solved by a global government.
The Truth about Climate Change.. The reality is only people who know absolutely nothing about it and do no study climate change are making the argument that man’s effect on climate is going to be catastrophic. Even scientists that are studying and believe man is affecting climate are not suggesting that it is catastrophic.
