Trump dominated the debate last night, and as we know from Democratic operatives that the Democrats are really in a tither over Hillary’s obvious loss in the debate. CNN will try and pull off some con game on her behalf, but it is obvious she did very badly.
Glenn Beck and his cult is frankly, weird. Beyond that. And quit trying to relive the nomination, the base has spoken.

One of the commenters under an anti-Hillary story signed off as “deplorable pussy-grabber.” I love it. We need to embrace the shock and make it our own.
Even if the America we remember never really existed, it was an America all Americans aspired to. What we have seen over recent decades is an America where even those aspirations, themselves, have been abused relentlessly by corrupt individuals whom we have allowed to refer to themselves as Americans while they are clearly not and never have been.
Hillary is a fascist in a pants suit and though she may not adopt the gaudy uniforms of Mussolini her ruling of America would be little different than Mussolini’s Italy. She is the ultra liberal elitist and her comment about the basket of deplorables is exactly what she thinks of the majority of Americans

The summer was filled with all sorts of blather from the Lamestream Media how the Sandernistas were the future of the party. But Sanders got nothing for his efforts: he got nothing in the platform; none of his supporters got plum positions at the DNC; etc. Therefore, I conclude that the DNC won't really want to change. But on the other hand, other commentators believe that Hillary will be utterly out of favor for losing to The Donald. Who will lead the purge of the DNC?
In the long run, the Democrats have to be reformed or destroyed--or this country is f**ked. We have to suspect that a Democrat is going to win the White House again in the next 16 years--and we need that person to be reasonable sane and lacking in corruption.
The Clinton crime family has raised incredible amounts of money which gives it the potential to remain control and pass leadership on to its chosen successors (Chelsea?).
Moreover, they MUST remain control - the took enormous sums of money on the basis that they would provide favors when they controlled the White House. They are not going to give that money back... Control of the Democrat Party is their only hope on delivering on those promises.
The left thinks that Cruz is “worse” than Trump, as do many people here.
You don't seem to know much about today's democrats if you actually believe you will ever find one that is "lacking in corruption". Corruption is one of their defining characteristics.

I’m 68, so we’re in the same boat.
Trump might do well to have a few ads focused on nostalgia — show America when we could play all day outside with no fear, the worst thing you could do in school was chew gum, moms taking care of their kids at home, people going in to country churches, cool cars, police being respected, etc. Those days existed, and we lived them.
