The NBC/WSJ poll has been updated to account for the debate. Pre-debate, it had an eye-popping 11-point Clinton lead in the four-way and 14 points the two-way.
That lead has settled down a bit: In a four-way matchup, Clinton now has the support of 46 percent of likely voters, while Trump has 37 percent, Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson has eight percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein has two percent.
And there are signs that it could come down further, as Trump does indeed appear to have rallied his base...

The Democrat media will have to make their phony polls look like a close race so their reluctant base will get up to vote.
Their credibility was instantly in question- even by Morning Jerk- so they had to “revise” their poll numbers. Still not legit and they will look foolish on 11/8

With all this media collaboration with Hillary campaign I suggest their panic represents Trump is much closer to winning.
You miss the point, the 11 point lead will be averaged into the Real Clear Politics average which has somehow become the gold standard though it never accurately reflects most recent polls.
The Democrat media will have to make their phony polls look like a close race so their reluctant base will get up to vote.

They are in panic because internal polling is showing Trump can win. Every media organization is against Trump, including most of the polling companies that are being paid to influence the turnout by producing polls.
LA Times Daily Tracker has Trump up +2. They were spot on in 2012. I am keeping my eye on this poll, so far it has seemed to be in line with major news event cycles. Trump took the lead after Hillary 911 fall and has kept it since. Trump could not possibly be winning in Ohio by 3+ and be behind nationally. I still think he takes Pennsylvania too.
