$1,000 per month electrical bills are coming...
But we had such good intentions...
Make that money come from them and see how that “precedent” disappears.
How much of the $300 million was spent on lawyers?
Little Rhody has more idiots per square mile than any State in the Union.
I heard the Idiot CEO being interviewed on Barry Armstrong’s show WRKO Boston 680.
It is all about the Subsidies Baby.
“...the wind farm is supposed to generate enough energy to power 17,000 homes...”
HAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The little people get to pay for the wind farm, plus the conventional power plants to “fill in” for the 50% of the time the turbines aren’t generating squat.
No company would bankroll this without taxpayer dollars.
They’d lose their asses.
It’ll make a nice fish habitat when the time comes.
Plenty of off shore wind power "plants"...have already been had.
I'm just tired fighting the lies.............

Block Island is quite small and very few people “winter” there.
This scheme is supposed to keep them electrically supplied at nasty times of year.
It’s Solyndra all over again but the MOrons who live there actually swallowed the whole stink enchilada and voted for it!
B,but it’s green. Obama fulfills a promise, higher energy bills.
The term navigation hazard comes to mind.
Like it’s going to come in on budget.
I wonder how this will effect “climate” to that area of coast? help in some way? cause more problems for people?
Also what is the plan when a storm takes out the wind turbines?
Actually wind turbines only generate power around 33% of the time. But you still need to maintain them no matter what.
Yeah but they’ll make up for it in volume.
So it is really going to cost $35,200 per house to build.
Fixed it.
