The answer to whether or not Hillary will participate in the next debate is very basic - what do their internal polls say?
If the NBC/WSJ poll are real and she is up by 11%, then she could easily skip the debate and win. If the WP/ABC News poll is real and she is only up by 4%, then she’s still winning but it could be risky.

If her internals show this is truly neck and neck as we all suspect, then she takes a major risk by continuing to hide and allowing Trump to continue pounding away. David Axelrod is a snake and a master illusionist. He created the illusion of Obama is an intelligent, high-brow uniter. He is trying to promote this media illusion that Hillary is above this dirty campaign, while they themselves are the makers of the mud.

Basically, Trump dropped the hammer of doom on her last time, and she shouldn’t be too eager to step up for more.

I could not agree with you more. As far as I’m concerned the GOP establishment effective took a dive in the last two elections.

In the best case they weren’t willing to loose their memberships in the establishment country club by fighting as dirty as the dems fight by default. I think, however, that the GOPe prefers to have a Democrat in the White House. Things have been peachy for the Republican leadership in the house. With an Obama or Clinton in power they can rile the GOP faithful up without needing to accomplish anything.

Trump, “Wikileak...Wikileak....corrupt..liar...jail..wikileak...US Constitution...traitor..wikileak...refused to take a simple drug test....Wikileak...Make America Great Again”

She’ doesn’t want to take even a tiny chance on Wallace and she sure the hell does’t want to discuss Wikileaks.

Exactly. The debate is one of Trump's principal ways to get the Wilileaks findings out to the uninformed, thanks to the media blackout.

I’d say Hillary’s real concern here is repeating her horrible and evasive performance in debate #2.

My liberal friends call last Sunday’s debate, “the debate that must not be named.” Even they know they lost

Axelrod is putting his finger in the wind to test the reaction from the DEM base to her skipping the debate.

We owe eight years of misery to David Axelrod.

Taking a drug test would expose her illness. Not taking a drug test would expose her illness.

She would have to have absolute silence from MSM as to anything Trump or any pro Trump might say and even that would probably not be sufficient.

Standing up and keeping a clear enough head to "debate" for 90 minutes then have to make it to the ambulance limo upright has got to be extremely taxing. I have an old friend who has Parkinson's. One constant refrain is, "I'm tired. I can't get no rest."

Re Trump saying “take a drug test”

—This— resonates with all the folks that have to take a drug test to either get or maintain their job.

They got it loud and clear.

(Too bad the MSM are dimbulb word-twisters that only drive a microphone or computer....)

Our very existence, as a nation, is at stake. I will tell you that I am being hacked daily— I DO NOT GIVE A “F”!! I have had post here erased twice by government hackers ( I think) . I DO NOT CARE. I will fight this corruption with every thing I have.( it my purpose in life.) Thank you Jim.It may be all we have left.

>> “ All Trump has to do is tear her a new rear end like a junk yard dog...” <<

.
Why didn’t he do it in the last debate?

I suspect his memory is not that well organized when he is on the spot.

I hope he guns her down, but I’m not holding my breath.

I would guess because he understands “The Deal” better than any of us. I am thinking that when closing a deal you don’t want the counterparty to decide too soon. The counterparty being the undecided voter. You want him believing he is still weighing his options right up until he puts ink on paper. I am thinking final moments of third debate is what Trump is gonna see as that “close the deal” time.
