The dummies voted for Obama and they are going to vote for Hilary so I just don't give a damn.
This will cause a lot of clinic based physicians to drop out becuse high deductible insurance is catastrophic and running a claim through insurance is an expensive hassle for providers and there no guarantee of payment not to mention all the rules and audits.
It’s the “Affordable” Care Act.
Built on a lie 6 years ago.
And what has the GOP done to stop it?
Nothing.
Yep. We now pay more than double for our (city gov) insurance. And our ded went from $100 per year to $400 per year, and we have all these other things that we have to pay for - layers of crap.
So we went from Cadillac insurance to something like a silver plan. But this is still considered “Cadillac”. Comparatively I suppose.
And get an actual DOCTOR now? forget it! It’s PAs and/or Nurse Pract. - not that I have anything against them, but why can’t I go to a Dr. anymore?
Actually Marco Rubio performed a bit hit on Obamacare

Dennis Michael Lynch explains that if Hillary is elected, companies will hire the illegals she legalizes and dump American workers to avoid paying the Obamacare fines. Republicans will agree to her desire to legalize them without giving them Obamacare because they want to win the Hispanic vote in 2020:

I had an appointment with my doctor this week. A sign in the receptionist/business area said any patients using Obamacare (yep, it said Obamacare) must inform the business office before receiving care.
The sign gave no reason, but I’d bet it was to check about an Obamacare patient’s ability to pay, or if they had a high deductible that would mean they’d owe 100% of most any doctor’s visit.
As planned
Gruber likened workers being kicked off job-based health plans to people falling off a building, - http://time.com/3583526/the-truth-about-gruber-gate/
This has almost nothing to do with Ocare. This is just the continuation of the long term trend of employers shifting health care costs to employees.
Yep. My employer insurance hasn’t raised premiums but deductibles are up across the board. This is kind of fair since it shifts the costs to those using the services - but it has definitely added to my monthly costs at a time when I can’t really afford it. Vote Trump to fix it.
but why cant I go to a Dr. anymore?”
Daughter-in-law found a great internal medicine doctor in our area for all of us to go to who takes cash only and is open to negotiating her fee. We also started going to a free standing lab to get any testing done. Quick in and out, no doctor’s orders necessary but they also do not take insurance. They do provide paperwork if patient wants to file themselves.
The doctor doesn’t even have a computer in her office, has one nurse to do the vitals and one gal on the front desk. Great personal care. And she is an American. Just incredibly busy and it takes a while to get an appointment.
I am an employer and am working my butt off to provide affordable health coverage for my employees.
The sign gave no reason...”
None of the doctors who are my business clients accept any Obamacare plans. Patients are generally on a month-to-month payment plan and may be behind in their payments, some plans are requiring electronic chart notes. Whole host of reasons. They are treated as if they are private pay, must pay the doctor’s fee at the time of service and if they want claim filed with their insurance, they have to do it themselves using the receipt given them.
Insurance carriers are now recouping $ from doctors for claims paid up to two years ago because it turns out the patient was not covered at the time. Just too large a financial risk.
Sounds even worse than I had imagined. Thanks for the more detailed information.
I am down 11k now
That's great and good luck.
Employer-provided health insurance plans have been increasing in cost for years - well before the ACA. Overall, the cost increases have been less since the ACA passed (but not necessarily because of it).
This article highlights the trend of employers to pass along more of the cost to employees by offering higher deductibles, etc. Are you having to do this in your business?
Winer...I pay $300 per month with a $5,000 deductible.
And my doctor is not part of the plan.
This has everything to do with ObamaCare; the insurance companies used by employers are often the same that offered ObamaCare plans, and they have to compensate for the ObamaCare losses by increasing the costs of the “regular” plans.
They are very much related.
Where we worked deductibles and copays have gone up and what is charged for the three levels of coverage DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU MAKE.
THE MORE MONEY YOU MAKE THE HIGGHER YOUR INSURACE COSTS ARE. NO MATTER WHAT LEVEL.
I find that those who don’t have the resources to help defray their own costs are the ones who think it’s a good deal. They also don’t have the deductibles to pay so end up with a really sweet deal -— for now.
