The Hillary Clinton campaign released a new video Wednesday featuring Tim Kaine and rapper Pusha T on the trail in Florida discussing criminal justice reform, education and healthcare. The rapper campaigned with Kaine in Miami late last week during the Democratic vice presidential nominee's Florida swing.
Pusha T said one of the most important issues to him is criminal justice reform, adding that he and the Democratic ticket are "definitely on the same page."
"There's a lot of reforms that are necessary," Kaine said. "There's policing reforms to make sure that we have communities where everybody respects the law, but people need to be respected by the law too."
The rapper also asked Kaine about education and healthcare.
Kaine plugged his running mate's plan to make higher education more affordable, in addition to President Obama's Affordable Care Act.
"I'm so impressed with not only your art, but that you are speaking a message to people and helping advance our country and our Commonwealth," Kaine, who represents Virginia in the Senate, told Pusha T. Tags:
