Jihadis and rioters will be a greater threat than government storm troopers. But then they tend to concentrate in urban ghettos. Just like in 1967 and 1968.
For jihadists, it tends to be office parties and shopping malls, of late.

I keep as close to a zero balance on the books as I can, as much of the time as I can. I think it’s a good idea, but it will become useless when cash is eliminated.

In all honesty, I think that they believe that they have the numbers to accomplish this, and they are wrong.
We still outnumber them. And committing to such a drastic course of action such as that would likely result in OUR numbers increasing as other parents within the system would rebel against said system, and side with us.
Again, this is just me thinking out loud.
The DemoRats have been pushing for gun control for decades.

My local gun store told me that the CHP Academy graduates are being farmed out to the ATT. Generals Office in preparation for gun confiscation. Initially they are targeting felons with guns....later they are moving on to those owning those owing “evil black rifles.” which they essentially outlawed this past summer.
I think California is asking for trouble. Time will tell what is what. Local Sheriffs are supporting the 2nd Amendment.

I also have a CZ75BD along with the .22 Kadet conversion kit for it as well. My wife carries a CZPO-1 which is also a sweet gun for her.
I have an M&P .40 that I just converted over to .357 SIG.
The .357 SUG should have been called a 9mm Magnum. It is bad to the bone round and quite devastating. Expensive and hard to find commercial ammo in that caliber and reloading is a little more difficult, but I kinda got it down pat now and shoot it alot and it’s my carry pistol in the winter.
For 2017 I am going to get a CZ PCR for possible carry.

If, God forbid, Hillary somehow gets into office, she will have a golden opportunity that passed by Obama: the mandate to appoint at least one Supreme Court Justice. It is guaranteed that she would absolutely pick an activist judge who will rule against the 2A. There’d be some horrible Kabuki compromising done on the part of the republican branch of the Uniparty to get such a judge confirmed, like Hillary agreeing to sign some kind of legislation to fund a border wall in exchange for confirmation, while McCain and Grahamnesty shout about what a great deal they made. The funds for the wall will quickly get sucked down the drain for various pork projects which will have been the intent in the first place.
Then there will be another very high profile false flag mass shooting, one that has plenty of women and children killed, specifically designed to have a high emotional shock value with the public, the department of propaganda going into anti-gun overdrive, showing 24/7 images of a bloody woman holding her baby, both dead on the floor of the shopping mall, with the story line saying over and over “Isn’t it time that we prohibit these weapons that have no sporting use, these weapons of war? Isn’t it time we rid America of “assault weapons”? Haven’t we had enough senseless death from this type of firearm?”
And that’s when Hillary would seize the moment and sign an executive order in which ALL so called “assault rifles” would have to be turned in. The push back, like we’ve never seen before, would demand that the order is heard by the Supreme Court, and it would be, very quickly. But that would have been the plan from the very start, already knowing how the Court will rule.
If Hillary is elected, it will have been by massive electronic voter fraud, and her primary purpose of being allowed into office will be to alter our Second Amendment rights, ridding us citizens of the types of firearms which now prevent the Uniparty/New World Order types from going full blown tyranny. I absolutely DO believe this IS the Uniparty’s plan that has been in the works for many decades. They didn’t push to have Obama appoint a Justice because they figure they’d steal the next election and have Hillary do the appointment and the executive order. I sincerely hope and pray I am wrong! Trump is our last hope at this most critical time for our nation. But then again, he will only serve to delay the Globalist’s plans. They will NEVER stop in their desire and plans to disarm us.

Without national gun registration it just isn’t going to happen. Enabling legislation can only be passed by Congress. And we’re not Australia.
I swear, too many FReepers are reading too many Matt Bracken novels (and I like what he writes).
Have you ever considered that perhaps it isn’t everybody else that is wrong on the topic? That just maybe a rabid anti-gunner such as Hillary not only COULD, but WOULD, sign such an EO banning all further sales of “assault weapons” and demand the surrender of said firearms in public hands by a certain time REGARDLESS of not having a complete database of who owns them? Also adding that if caught with such a firearm after a certain date there would be severe set penalties? Your free to believe as you want, but that doesn’t automatically make everybody who disagrees with you wrong.

Anyway, a personal antigun ideology like Hillary’s does not translate into raw state power just because she feels that it should.
A Hillary EO saying “Mr. & Mrs. America, turn in your guns or you’re ALL under arrest!!” don’t mean diddly. How’s it going to be enforced and by whom? The POTUS can’t even impose martial law without the consent of Congress.
Not even a Democrat controlled Congress has ever passed a national gun registry law. Gives Dianne Feinstein ulcers just to think about it.
Where’s this army of Federal flying monkeys to go out & start confiscating? Fifty states must be willing to go along and that won’t happen either.
Rounding up 300 million plus firearms isn’t as easy as it looks. Armed insurrection is not to be ruled out and Govags have to go home at night, too.
That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it. And I never said anyone who disagrees is wrong. Hillary may turn out to be the Great Harlot of the Apocalypse but she ain’t gettin’ our guns. She’s practically toast even if she does waddle into the WH. Damaged goods to da max!
