Katy Tur’s “success” is one of the great mysteries of modern journalism. Other than being anti-Trump, she has no real qualifications. She bounced around some minor cable operations and chased storms for the Weather Channel before a brief stint at KTLA in SoCal.
Her career-making turn was as Keith Olberman’s girlfriend. After she moved in with him, he got her a reporting job at WNBC-TV, the network’s flagship station in New York. Not long after that, she gave Kreepy Keith the boot. Predictably, he eventually pissed off the lib execs at MSNBC (where he was the “hot” talent at the time) and lost his job. Tur managed to hang on at Channel 4 and eventually got promoted to the network news.
Absolutely nothing noteworthy about her “work,” except the predictable anti-Trump tone. Only slightly more talented (as an on-camera talent) than Chelsea Clinton.
The little, yapping press pups want to run with the big dogs, and then they yipe when they get nipped for being stupid.

She’s fearless! Watched the segment. IMO, MSNBC knows something’s up. They were a bit whiney about Katy Tur, but otherwise their normal snark/bias was reasonably in check.
As usual, Kellyanne cleaned their clocks.

Oh, Willie, you broke my heart. I thought you were silently on our side. I don’t even know Katie Tur, I thought Donald was speaking and pointing to Katie Couric. I always liked Willie but this morning he badgered Kellynnne - now I think Willie is a creep.
I watch Katy because we watch the NBC Nightly News with Lessie my wife’s idol for reasons other than what he says which, when it’s about politics, she doesn’t pay attention to.
Katy’s their Trump reporter. She always has a look on her face like she’s reporting on a loser, or maybe like she has to do the reporting assigned to her but it’s a nasty assignment.

I was at this rally. He definitely stayed around and mingled with the crowd. It was more than a few minutes. It took us a while to get out of the arena and he was still there mingling when we finally mae it out. I was surprised at the lie the networks told afterwards.
It seems they all lie about Trump. Major Garrett introduces
commentary every morning on CBS This morning. Instead of just reporting facts, he adds his own anti-Trump color, as if nobody notices.
The media deserves what they get, people see the blatant bias, the media is not getting way with it. They just aren’t used to being “called” on it. too bad.

Every time he calls Katy out, it reminds people that the media makes up stories and LIES in the worst way ... I think this is the bigger reason he does it, but he still ‘enjoys’ dinging her personally & rubbing her nose in it & she deserves every bit of it. There should be consequences for ‘reporters’ who do this sort of thing - they are currently totally unaccountable.
