So do they, or do they not, count absentee ballots in states where the margin of victory is greater than the number of absentee ballots?
I don’t think they do. I beleive California passed a law that
stated they would count them but who knows.
I suspect that if Killery was limited to only legally cast votes, you could cut her number by approx 20%.
They count each legal vote as far as can be ascertained. No matter the state tally.
CA itself has 4 million more ballots to count as of this morning.
OK, spoke too soon. They may not count all votes if the votes wont make a difference in a state. Not sure yet.
Might be right
And do not forget, the dead always vote democrat.
It’s a very bad sign that there were 61,127,013 votes to make a felon president. I don’t see how these people could ever clam they occupy the moral high ground.
“I wonder with technology (big data) why we cannot verify all voting registration in every state.”
Because that’d interfere with the DNCs massive vote fraud machine and that’s racist.
So, where are the cases of voter fraud on election day? We ignore It if GOP wins? Democrats were operating under belief they would win. Weren’t there stories of dead voting?
Democrats want to run up the popular vote margin. But how would the results be if EV were awarded like ME & NE? Someday that may be the compromise?
Obama 2012 65,915,795
I think what people are confusing here, is the fact that when a State chooses to report who won the State at the Presidential level (or Senate, House, etc), they will report it as soon as they know that the total size of the pile of unprocessed absentee ballots is not enough to change the result of the Presidential winner. That doesn't mean they no longer plan to count those ballots. No way! They *have* to count them, or they could overturn the will of the voters in, say, Pork Corners KS, on the almost-deadlocked vote to Recall the town's dog-catcher.
It looks like Jill Stein cost Mrs. Bill Clinton the election in Wisconsin and Michigan. How sweet it is!
We should never agree to change the Electoral College system, unless you want give up our Representive Republic that protects rural fly over country (Red) from the Urban areas (blue) leftist takeocer.
In fact, we need to go back to Senators being appointed by the State, not popular vote.
Awarding EV by district will cause crazier congressional districts lines as states take ev into account.
The Electoral vote and the popular vote doesn’t add up or make sense to me.
The states award the electoral votes to the candidate that wins the popular vote of that state, right?
So, it only makes sense that the popular vote and electoral number awarded should match. The candidate that wins the 270+ electoral votes should also win the popular vote.
How can the candidate that lost end up with more popular votes overall than the candidate that won the individual states popular vote/electoral votes?
If we had the Senators appointed by states, that would go a long way to enhancing checks and balances, as well as strengthening states rights.
Should this somehow go bad in a particular state, the people of that state would always have a check with their vote for their state representatives and governor.
