Guess again. I spent around 30 years in Europe, still have a pied a terre there, and speak more than English. I’d guess I know quite a bit too. In those 30 + years, I never had an incident in France where there wasn’t a French man or woman there to help me simply because I was an American. It’s all about attitude. I have friends all over Europe of many nationalities and have always been treated with respect and indeed love.
