There may be a few special snowflakes there but Texas A&M is not Harvard. The cadet corp there numbers in the thousands. One of my classmates went on to be a Delta force Squadron commander. The building they are meeting in is named after Aggie James Earl Rudder who commanded the rangers at Point Du Hoc. General Patton said “Give me an army of West Point Grads and I will win a battle, give me a handful of Texas Aggies and I will win the war.”
There have been 30 Aggies KIA since 2001. A&M is one of the most patriotic Universities in the USA.

Good to hear that. No disrespect intended towards the good folk there. You know where it’s directed.
All we hear is how this group or that group is offended, outraged, aggreived, etc., it’s getting old. And tiresome.
Texas is where I’d live when I retire, if I can afford to more.
Nazis murdered millions, including many Americans, during the 1930s and 1940s. They do not deserve a seat at the table of any "free speech" debate. They don't get to represent "the white race" any more than radical Islamists get to represent "the Arab race".
I'd happily tell them that Hitler was a punk, his views are perverse and anyone wishing to celebrate the man deserves prison.
Further, Trump needs to forcifully disown these people and condemn them as traitors to their race and to their country. The Left is going to try to continue to tar him with this alt-right crap until he denounces it more completely than he has up until now. Just like Obama had to disown Reverend Wright in order to have credibility with the rest of the electorate.
Either you don’t get the whole 1st Amendment thing or you don’t care to see it protected. Either way is shiver me timbers scary! I do not understand where you are coming from. Happy Thanksgiving.
Love the story about your college age kids. I was, back in the day, one of the ones signing the sheet & marching. Is it difficult for them to be a conservative at school? They definitely have to be in the minority. Because some young people think conservative students should be harassed & shut down it can’t be easy. Tell them to stay strong!

People forfeit their constitutional rights all the time when they commit violent acts, demonstrate a propensity for violent acts or espouse the violent overthrow of the government. Nazis, as a group, are guilty of the latter two simply by self-identifying as Nazis (note: this is not the same as identifying oneself as black or female where you can turn and disavow it). They have a history of violence and espouse overthrowing the government.
As I’ve said, they have forfeited their rights to have a seat at the table of ideas and that prison is the logical place for them.
THEY chose whom to associate and identify with which is mass-murderer Adolf Hitler. I didn’t choose that for them nor anyone else. THEY chose this association and I see nothing wrong with bottling their acid before it infects others.

Thank you! Definitely in the minority, but they have friends that are Christian and some that are Conservative. (A lot of our Christian friends are Liberals, but we agree to disagree and know that there is only one King. Not to say that all Christians are like that - but as friends we are.)
My daughter went to Montana for college. One of her friends said “Its really tough here with all of the liberals!” My daughter replied “Ha - coming from Seattle I think this is great!” (She thinks it is about 50-50, although I find that hard to believe.)
Our kids are more outspoken about their beliefs than mom and dad. My wife wants to keep her friends, and I want to keep my clients!
