Bharara is the guy who is currently going after Anthony Weiner… an investigation which produced all sorts of interesting information. And in August he announced that he was investigating corruption at the New York offices of the Clinton Foundation.

I found this interview of Mr. Bharara by Jim Cramer interesting.

Based on that interview, I think things won't bode well for either Weiner or the Clinton Foundation.

Bharara means business and has begun the draining of Cuomo’s Albany swamp. He has already reeled in two big swamp creatures close to Cuomo.

Preet Bharara’s ongoing investigation of Weiner and the NYC Clinton Foundation wing causes me to not be too concerned about Trump’s statement about not pursuing the Hillary crime issues. This could easily and most likely simply mean that Trump “personally” won’t be overseeing and in charge of the investigation.

Trump’s direct involvement is a moot point - the investigation is ongoing anyway - Trump’s “official” cooperation as president elect is not directly relevant.

THIS is the type of guy we need!
I believe Trump has had aides put out the not charging Clinton story to see the reaction. Not the kind of leadership I want. He should be more like Preet Bharara.

FTA: The FBI may have thrown in the towel on going after Hillary Clinton. Even Donald Trump may be making noises about not needing to “lock her up.” But out there in New York City Preet Bharara is still grinding away at his job. And if he has the Clintons in his sights, don’t expect him to simply go away because the election is over. Preet Bharara is the honey badger of corruption investigations and he is not afraid to do his job.
