“Shes still really attractive for a 90 year old woman.”
We should really let Laz be the final say on that.
She is no longer the only image used on the Gerber various products anymore—they have new submitted and selected ones now. English teacher, novelist, sorority chick, and married a Sheriff to boot. Dan Gerber did not live long enough to see Gerald Ford President only Vice-President. The Gerber cereal is manufactured at Fort Smith now with completely new formulas—mega-dollars for the tallest structure in town. To lots of folks hereabouts back in the 70s and, I am sure before that, babies-in-arms were referred to as “Gerbers” as in, “Ooooh, what an adorable gerber!”
The original gerber baby was Humphrey Bogart drawn by his mother who was an advertising illustrator.
In 1913, at the age of 5, he was the the boy model on the packages of Sun Maid Raisins.
This was before the company switched to the Sun Maid maid with the bonnet on her head and a basket of raisins cradled in her arms.

Am I reading your comments correctly? You were friends with someone back in 1913, and now here you are frequently posting online? That is both remarkable and inspiring. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
What an interesting story!

I’d hit it.
Carefully.
So as not to break anything.
