Well how do you like Peoria? Did you like 100 degrees in August?

After getting his ass kicked by Asians in the Vietnam war, you’d think he wouldn’t be so sympathetic to them. Maybe he is mad at the USA for sending him to Vietnam?

"McCain disappointed with Trump withdrawal from TPP"If RINOcrat McCain is disappointed, that's another good reason to go ahead and withdraw from TPP.
To: DeathBeforeDishonor1
Poor John. I see more disappointment coming his way

Trump hasn't actually withdrawn yet. He said he INTENDS to withdraw.
This is all premature verbal ejaculations on McCain's part.

America and the world paid a heavy price in the 1920s and 1930s”
Gee, John, as I understood it, the insane market speculation in the U.S. stock market that caused the U.S. stock market to crash resulted in a heavy price paid by nearly everyone on the planet for an entire decade. I wonder how that could happen if the U.S. was as isolated as you claim?

And I’m disappointed by Senator McCain’s reelection.

Gee, I guess McCain’s election is now over so he quit playing a Conservative and go back to his RINO pontificating. Can Lindsey Graham be far behind in weighing in on this?

Needs to retire? Hell, he just ran for and got another term and turned 80. He will die in the office.
We had a great conservative challenger this year but McCain still used his slime machine and big bucks to manage 51% of the vote. We have lots of old timers that have voted for him for decades and don’t know any better.
With the Goldwater heritage, we have some glamor attached to so called mavericks.
I actually voted for the Green Party idiot because I couldn’t stand the idea of being forced to vote for him. Our other Senator is in his mold — Flake the flake.

I can almost guarantee you that the Trump will sign some variation of the TPP down the road.
All this posturing is just a strategy to get a better deal for the U.S., and to get more transparency in the process.

It was 117 when we arrived in town. Ugh.
The weather is nice now, but it’s seriously windy today. I’ll be glad when construction is finished so we don’t get all this blowing dust.
Other than that, it’s growing on me.
