'Good riddance Fidel Castro!' Hundreds of Cuban-Americans take to the streets of Miami to ....

Cuban-Americans in Miami celebrated the death of communist dictator Fidel Castro early Saturday morning with a Little Havana and Hialeah tradition: Banging pots and pans.

Hundreds of people took to the streets in jubilance after it was announced that Castro had died Friday aged 90.

As people banged the kitchenware rhythmically in Little Havana, others danced in the streets and held their cellphones in the air to record the historic moment.

Miami's population is 70 percent Hispanic and Latino and more than half of that population is of Cuban descent.

Party central in Miami. I wonder who inherits all the multi-millions the "communist," "collectivist" Castro managed to steal over the years?

Obozo will probably go to the expense of attending the funeral of his fellow Marxist.

I would expect that lots of wealth is in Swiss accounts, and in Panama accounts. Likely quite a bit is in gold, diamonds and other easily transferred stuff.

Perhaps figuring out where it all was had something to do with keeping Fidel alive this last decade.

The total could well be in the billions.

Fidel stepped down several years ago. Raul is in charge. The question is what happens when you when he dies?

ROBERT KNIGHT: Obama’s trip to Cuba enables communists

Doing the Cuban tango in Che’s stomping ground

By Robert Knight - - Sunday, March 27, 2016

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Six years ago, comedienne Victoria Jackson made a funny but serious video playing the ukulele and singing in little girl voice, “There’s a Communist Living in the White House!”

In verse after verse, she recounts President Obama’s many radical roots and connections. Included are Mr. Obama’s mentoring as a teen by Communist Party writer Frank Marshall Davis, Mr. Obama’s political “coming out” at the Chicago home of Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, his attending for 20 years the church of “black liberation theology” pastor Jeremiah Wright and his appointing Communist Party “truther” Van Jones as White House “green jobs czar.”

That just scratches the surface. So, when I viewed the photo last week of Mr. Obama standing with Cuban communists in front of a huge, iconic image of Ernesto “Che” Guevara in Havana, I thought of Miss Jackson.

It’s hard to imagine what Cubans who fled Castro’s regime and lost family members must have felt seeing the American president looking right at home in front of that enormous portrait.

Perhaps it’s time for Miss Jackson to update the song, adding verses about Obamacare, our LGBT-enhanced military, the government takeover of student loans, massive spending, the rise of the Free Stuff Army, the authoritarian abuses of the IRS and EPA and other steps along Mr. Obama’s road to socialism.

When Cuban dictator Raul Castro chided America for our “double standard” on human rights, citing the military prison in Guantanamo Bay and alleged failings in health care, education, and equal pay, Mr. Obama said, “I actually welcome President Castro commenting on some of the areas where he feels we’re falling short.”

Democrats are in mourning everywhere. They have lost their cult hero. This loss on top of the Trump victory and down-ticket wipeout may cause some ‘crats to jump off tall buildings.

If Raul (now 85) dies while Trump is president, maybe Trump could support some sort of velvet revolution down there (like the East European countries who got away from Soviet rule without bloodshed). What do the majority of Cubans want for their government?

I’m not sure what the Cubans in Cuba want. I would imagine freedom but you know what Janis Joplin said about freedom.

This post on FR is the first of anything that I've heard of his death. Tell me more.

To me it seems that FR beat the Lame Stream Media in reporting his DEATH.
