Barring a court challenge by Trump, the recount is expected to begin Friday.

The Board of State Canvassers has scheduled a Friday morning meeting to hear any objections to the recount — something Trump’s lawyers John Pirich and Gary Gordon are anticipated to make.

This is a pathetic farce. I really believe she should be jailed for fraud.

$4 million?

Liberals love spending other people’s money.

How is the state paying for it? Stein had to pay $3.5M to WI (and now they report they underestimated by $400K).

If she has to pay the difference, Stein will get a follow-up bill once the recount is done.

Mich law says she only pays 1/4. It’s so the little people can challenge vote.

If she is paying for it, how is it costing the state $4 million?

Still stupid but, she is supposedly covering the cost

“Stein said Wednesday the more than 75,000 blank votes in Michigan’s presidential results were a “red flag” that fueled her desire to seek a statewide hand recount of 4.8 million ballots.

The 75,335 ballots cast without a vote in the presidential contest were twice as many blank votes as the 2008 election and a 61 percent increase from 2012.”

How does she know about these ballots that are “blank” is this public knowledge?

Yes. It's a reconciliation issue. X ballots were cast in total. The total candidate vote was Y. Blank ballots were X minus Y.

Probably... it could simply be the total number of votes for President vs. the number of total votes for Senator or Congresscritter.

Not surprising. A lot of people did not vote for President. because they did not like either candidate.

She is such a bitch. She complains about the equipment the same equipment and procedures in the 2012 election and the elections in between but funny how this is the only election she is challenging. I think she wants to get her hands on the 75,000.00 blank presidential ballots and possibly figure the intent of the voter.

I know people who voted in the election but did not cast a vote for president this year.

True in fact there have been articles written on just that I just read one the other day. The women (voter) in the article from PA as well said she and her husband had always voted democrat but this time they just couldn’t bring themselves to vote for the democrat so they didn’t vote.

Jill must have missed the articles.

Well Jill seems surprised by it and that is one reason for her recount in Michigan so she says from the article.

Don’t you recall all the hoopla over the #nevertrumpers (and supposedly neverhildabeasters) who said they weren’t going to vote for president only other ballot issues?

I don’t think anyone on any threads have figured that out. She is a megalomaniac living in her own little world and probably is surrounded by admiring minions that want a piece of the money she has raised with her fantasies.
