After one of the most politically divisive elections in recent history, voters are generally in agreement about what should be at the top of Donald Trump's and the new Congress' agenda once they are sworn in next year, according to the first post-election IBD/TIPP poll.
The poll asked the public to name which of seven agenda items should be the highest, second-highest and third-highest priorities for the new administration.
Infrastructure spending came out on top, with 23% saying it should be Trump's top-most agenda, followed by "drain the swamp" (18%), lowering taxes (16%), and repealing ObamaCare, at 13%.
However, when the top three choices are combined, defeating ISIS comes out on top, with 54% naming that as one of their top-three priorities. That's a surprising finding, if for no other reason that the issue barely came up during the campaign, but shows that repeated lone-wolf attacks on the country (the latest of which occurred at Ohio State University) have taken their toll.

...and build the wall.
Nice try, gutless wonders. We don’t need not stinking roads before we get that wall and a handle on immigrations.
The priorities seem much different than the order of my friends and business associates. Of course, illegal immigration and massive drug trafficking are endemic to those of us so close to the border of Mexico.
Complete results with cross-tabs will be posted on December 16.
great...no clues as to how many RATS....
Based on how badly incorrect the polling industry has proven itself to be over the last year, I would take this with a large grain of salt. I not seeing anyone too bent out of shape about “infrastructure spending” currently.
I wonder if those polled only had certain issues to choose from. Sounds like a Ryan push poll.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, all that’s fine and dandy, but build the frickin’ wall.
Indeed!
After you build the wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m sorry, this is a phony poll. He was elected to *end illegal immigration*. This is the one thing people knew he’d do that none of the others could be trusted to do. He does this and it will be a successful presidency. He fails to do this, it doesn’t matter what else he does. This is the red-letter item that has to get done for anything else to matter.
“Build the wall” was Trump’s first, most repeated, and most supported promise. “Who will pay for it...Mexico!”
I won’t forget.
It is what got me on board.
Don’t let me down.
Now let’s put the pollster on the hook to divulge who paid for it.
For the record, I think Black Lives matter have killed more than ISIS in the USA.
Picking off cops one or two at a time adds up.
Black Lives Matter is a terrible threat to America and should be obliterated
More partial fake news and polls.
By the time I graduated college, my favorite question was qui bono. Wo5rks about 95% of the time : )
(100% with Hillary)
Cui Bono | “Cui Bono” means “Who Benefits”.
Trump is going for all of the above. Not tired of winning!
IBD = GOPE Chamber of Commerce “No Borders” traitors
Will Obama fight for the ISIS veterans and make sure they get a pension ?
