That’s why I don’t often watch ‘Cops’ - seems a few get “screen time disease” and put in a little extra beating or knee-in-the-back of someone who is trying to gently lay down. Not all, of course, are, but that’s different.

I watched the video and even though I hear the sound of punching I do not see any punching action of any of the officers - and the one that put on the blue rubber gloves is not even close enough to strike him.
This looks faked to me.

Amazing how seriously being tied to a chair he was able to keep assaulting the cops where they had to defend themselves.

These cops are vicious assholes. The cop who does most of the hitting, and who keeps saying "stop resisting" over and over again is putting on a bullsh!t show for the camera's audio track (he might as well have been saying "stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself).
You can tell by the position of the drunk guy's feet (white tennis shoes which you can see near floor level) during the "procedure" that the dude is NOT moving around very much.
It's also obvious that all four officers know exactly where the camera is, and that they make sure their bodies block the cameras view of what is going on.
Whatever else happens, these men should NOT be allowed to be police officers anywhere in this country.
If his eye injury didn’t occur during the initial arrest and scuffle, then he has a legitimate case.
Him being tied to the chair should be the result of him being combative.
Once he’s tied in the chair, he should have been free from any further physical assault.
If the video shows an assault of a man tied to a chair, the officers should be in deep manure.
Ten to twenty... next!
Something doesn’t ring true here.
These officers knew they were on video. What in their minds justified their actions? I expect to hear a different version of this over time.
Perhaps in the end I’ll tack on an additional 5-10 for pure stupidity.
