Nigel Farage says the EU is a threat.....(Corporatists Ignore Brexit, Trump, Italian elections)

NIGEL FARAGE (at :10).....I think we can all agree that 2016 has been a momentus, indeed, historic year. And as its Christmas lets think of those events in terms of the Three Wise Men bearing their gifts.

First, we have the Brexit Deliverance, then we have the Trump Triumph and then thirdly of course the Italian Rebellion.

Its just that in this case, the gifts were all the same, democracy and the rebirth of the nation state. And I really think you better listen because I know in the past you've managed to ignore Danish, Dutch, Irish and French referendums, but this time it is for real.

A democratic revolution has begun.

And yet, when the 28 leaders of the EU countries meet tomorrow on the agenda I see no sign of humility, I see no understanding of what has happened at all. In fact, what I see is the implementation plan of the EU global strategy on security and defense.

In simple English, EU militarization, the building of a European Army. Mr. Juncker (EU leader) used Donald Trump's magnificent victory to say: 'Well that means NATO won't be here anymore, we have to do this ourselves' is what you said and I think this is a huge and dangerous error.

Trump is not a threat to NATO. He wants it to be redefined and he wants the members to pay their way. It is Mr. Juncker who is a threat to NATO....

(at 1:55) It was Tony Blair who first really worried me about this project (the EU) when he said the rationale for the EU today is not peace, its about power.

And already we've seen that power exercised in terms of foreign policy in Ukraine......

Nigel Farage was at Trump Tower yesterday to meet with Donald Trump.

The day before he spoke in the European Parliament in opposition to the EU's moves to establish its own army to supplant the NATO alliance.

Farage sees the EU ignoring the message voters have been sending them recently.

Its a belligerent sounding EU, perhaps trying to justify its existence by fomenting conflict with Russia?

"Peace on Earth" does not seem to be in the EU's heart this Christmas.

the EU is like baby globalism. Imagine as it grows by adding country after country until every one is part of 1 EU and there you go

Europe has many economic problems, and when that's the case there are always those who see military conflict as a solution.

I think the plan instead has been to grow multiple EUs—with American, African, Pacific and Middle Eastern ones as well—and have them merge together.

People who have accrued the kind of power the EU has do not give it up easily and peacefully.

Look at what our own democrats and RINOs are doing right now as an example.

I always wonder why in the world would they want all these muslims into the country? It is just a major burden to the economy and cause all these problems

Then I was thinking how would the EU create this new military? They are weak, no gun culture, no death penalty...

So I am wondering if that’s the plan..

The EU will start wars the United States will have to finish. It’s not as if the Junker family has a long and proud history of drawing the world into war after all.

>>”Its a belligerent sounding EU, perhaps trying to justify its existence by fomenting conflict with Russia?”<<

The EU was originally set up as a continuation of EEC (European Economic Community), to facilitate trade & immigration between member nations - the intention was to create a consolidated union, a free, borderless zone for its MEMBERS, and later a single currency - somewhat modelled on the U.S.

NATO was originally set up, by the U.S., for defense reasons against the USSR and the Eastern Bloc - Warsaw Pact.

I think the EU or some members are somewhat shell-shocked & anxious because of Trump’s words that they’ll have to pay their own way. They might have interpreted it as “there won’t be a NATO for defense purposes”. No one knows for now how Trump is planning to “re-define” NATO, except members paying their own way, which is fair enough.

>>>”n fact, what I see is the implementation plan of the EU global strategy on security and defense.”<<<

This is an absurd assertion. The EU nation members, individually or collectively, will continue to depend on the U.S. for security and defense, even if they pay their own way - so far they’ve been driven by the U.S. - that’s about Power.

Below is an interview with Tucker Carlson on 12-15 with Nigel Farage.

In the beginning of the clip, a Parliament member outlines the case how Russia hacked the Brexit vote.

around the 4:20 min mark:
Farage lays out the possibilities after Brexit - the EU is forming an army. Step 1 for Ukraine entering the EU.
It will provoke a conflict with Putin.

NATO is under threat from EU
