"This is not about trying to stop Donald Trump from becoming president," he insisted.'
Oh, of course not! Perish the thought...

Moonbats are still in denial.
They still can’t accept the fact they lost, 58 days after the election.

The Dems forgot to have a new election for America’s Dumbest Senator after Barbara Boxer retired. She’s the one who made the pointless gesture last time.

The demodummie needs to put up or shut up. Prevent actual, undisputable evidence that Russia rigged the election. If I were him I would have addressed my attention to the media whores as it was quite obvious they did their best to beat Trump and put their candidate high in the polls, yet they still lost and cannot get over it.

In Colorado he presents himself as a moderate Democrat, but in truth he’s as much of an asshat as the rest of the bunch.

“We cannot allow a foreign nation to ever influence our elections because it harms our liberty, freedom and independence. This is bigger than just one election, and for the sake of our democracy, we must remain vigilant.”
Kind of like not allowing our own Marxist, anti-Semitic president’s meddling in Israel’s election of Netanyahu?

Maybe Biden ought to tell Perlmutter to “grow up” instead of Trump......

If the evidence is “clear”, I like to see it.

The rules allow lawmakers to protest the counting of Electoral College votes, but because the votes are counted during a joint session of Congress, a senator would also have to protest the results to halt their certificationThis statement is literally true, but false in essence.
One Senator and one Representative don't "protest" the results, they "object to" the results, and the certification is halted for as long as it takes 270 voting members of the special joint session to overrule the objection and certify the results, under the circumstances obtaining tomorrow, that is, about five minutes.

"Russia was behind the hacking into Democratic emails last year in an attempt to sway the election."
Apples and oranges? How does hacking emails affect an election? They don't even bother trying to explain how they can make that assumption. To get from A to D, they skipped B and C first.

"This is about the fact that our liberty, freedom and democracy were compromised by Russia's intrusion into America's election," he continued.
And yet the specifics of that intrusion, and how it changed votes, are never discussed.
Because their real complaint is that the sleaziness, corruption and truth about Hillary and the DNC were showcased through Wikileaks. They can't mention that, and can't point to hacked voting machines, so instead this nebulous "interference" is parroted ad nauseum in the vain hope it will become fact.
I haven't seen any polling boasting that a majority of Americans think the Russians tipped the election to Trump. I wonder why that is?

Perlmutter hasn’t thought this through. If Trump were replaced by whatever combination of treachery at this stage, that would be the end of the country and voting by other means would begin.
