WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald J. Trump said in an interview Friday morning that the storm surrounding Russian hacking during the presidential campaign is a political witch hunt being carried out by his adversaries, who he said were embarrassed by their loss to him in the election last year. Mr. Trump spoke to The New York Times by telephone three hours before he was set to be briefed by the nation’s top intelligence and law enforcement officials about Russian hacking of American political institutions. In the conversation, he repeatedly criticized the intense focus on the alleged cyber intrusions by Russia.

He noted that there have been prior successful hacks of the White House and Congress, suggesting that it was unfair because those attacks on American institutions have not received the attention that the Russian cyber-intrusions have. But none of the information from those intrusions was made public as it was in the case of the hack of the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman.

The effort is not a witch hunt. The effort is a Benghazi Video genre Big Lie. The continuing and continuing and ongoing effort is an indication of failure to actually firmly register the Big Lie in History.
They don’t give a damn about actual blame, they only care about History. They are attempting but failing, to pre write history with certifiable professor accepted citations and references.
The left has never had this kind of pushback against them in their lives, and rather than take a rational approach and do some self reflection, they’re doubling down on the stupid and flinging anything out there hoping it sticks. To think one man is doing all this to the entrenched politocracy in DC and the media is astounding.
What’s annoying is the way the Dems are acting like Russian hackers altered our election results.
They didn’t. The voting machines are not internet connected and can’t be hacked that way (note that I do believe manipulation of voting machines is occurring, but it’s not the Russians. It’s the Dems).
The Russians, assuming they are the ones that even did it, which I am not convinced of yet, did not hack “the election”. They hacked the DNC’s email system. That’s not the same thing as hacking the election, but the Dems want everyone to believe that.

It will be up to us to go into the eventual Wikipedia article and write paragraphs with rock solid citations that will refute the citations for the Big Lie.
