The record shows, Trump took the blows, and did it 'his way' - and Paul Anka plans to let him know it. One of a few musical artists who have agreed to perform at the Trump inauguration, Anka plans to perform his song 'My Way' with special rewritten lyrics for the incoming President. A source close to the 75-year-old star told Radar exclusively that he was asked by members of Trump's inauguration committee. The source said: 'He was only too happy to do it for his longtime friend. 'While everyone else was running scared from performing at the inauguration, Paul stood fast.' Anka has rewritten the lyrics to 'My Way' specifically for Donald Trump, and will perform them for the inaugural dance.

There was a term I first read years ago in an interview with Johnny Carson in regards to taking all the crap in show business called FU money. He said you reach a point where you have enough money to tell the show biz powers that be just that. I think Anka long ago reached that stage. He wrote the Tonight Show theme while Carson was on and got a royalty check for each one. Anka was a teen idol in the 1950s and has had a very very long and lucrative career.
Paul is one of the few artists that still have Balls, so to speak! Screw the Leftist cry babies! Lets all celebrate our victory with President Trump and damned be the rest of the losers!?

Paul Anka wrote the theme for The Tonight Show and gets about $200 every time it is played. An awesome payout over the decades. My guess is that golden goose will be threatened if proceeds with his plan to sing for Trump.

A year or two ago I heard a clip from a live concert Neil Diamond had done and his voice was totally gone.......
Doubt it! They won’t stop playing the decades old theme song to the Tonight Show just to stick it to Anka. And his royalty payout cannot be stopped or messed with.
I remember hearing it in the closing credits for Goodfellas and thinking, “WTF is THAT?!?!?!”
The CAN stop his royalty payments, by not using his song. And if you think libs are a forgiving bunch, you are mistaken. Anyway, I said they may ‘threaten’ to stop using it.
I don’t think Mariah can sing the high notes anymore..thus the track and the debacle on New Years Eve.
Though, it is likely she didn’t take care of her voice.
Just as Shirley Bassey had to have taken care of her voice for it still be going pretty strong. Don’t know if she can sing at 80 but she could at 70.
