The Strange Saga of Osama and Obama
American Thinker ^ | January 14, 2017 | Vernon Roken

They are the two men who changed the course of the history of the United States and the world in the new millennium: one by his capacity for evil, the other by his incapacity to comprehend it. The saga of Osama and Obama begins at the dawn of the 21st century.

In September of 2001, Osama bin Laden slaughtered thousands of Americans in New York, Washington, and in the skies, undermining the nation's sense of security. The Twin Towers were a symbol of the soaring power of the unchallenged United States following the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Osama didn't have to leave his Afghan hideaway to accomplish his "feat." He sent no clunky missiles in an effort to dent the impenetrable power of fortress America as Saddam Hussein had attempted with his Scuds against U.S. troops during the Gulf War. He relied on a small group of Muslim fanatics with box cutters and the schedules of U.S. airlines servicing a booming economy.

In response to bin Laden’s outrage, then President George W. Bush launched the War on Terror. In 2008, Americans chose Barack Hussein Obama to be their first post-9/11 elected president. That his surname, Obama, rhymed with Osama and had the unusual names “Barack Hussein" attached to it is only a coincidence. The resemblance, however, was not lost on the future president when he lunched with a political consultant in late September of 2001. Before them was a newspaper with Osama bin Laden's photo. "Hell of a thing isn't it?" remarked the consultant. "Really bad luck. You can't change your name, of course. Voters are suspicious of that kind of thing."

You say Osama, I say Obama.

Osama, Obama, what is the difference?

THEY BOTH hate America, hate Americans,
and deliver murder, disease, and rape worldwide
for Islamic jihad.

Its hard to get in tune with the author’s positions when from the onset he erects a false premise. I believe it is the author who fails to understand the true face of evil.

Obama fits every facet of the definition: profoundly immoral and malevolent; wickedness, and depravity; harmful; injurious; characterized or accompanied by misfortune or suffering; unfortunate; disastrous; marked by anger, irritability, irascibility, etc. The author seems to suffer from the prevalent idea that society must understand & not judge. Obama with his pen & drones is far more than an immoral man of inaction and should be judged by his actions & the effects of his actions.

This is a classic example of an author attempting to paint a difference without a distinction. Osamabama merely employed different weapons in order to take down America. Both failed, but they inflicted serious damage.

I always get the two mixed up. One was a Muslims tyrant responsible fior hundreds of American deaths. One was killed in Pakistan.

Cannot get past the author's suggestion that Barack Obama had a weakness in recognizing evil ("....the other by his incapacity to comprehend it.)

I wonder once he's gone from office if some of them will grow a set and TELL THE TRUTH.

Barack Obama...the most sinister POTUS in history.

Several hours thru Pakistani air space undetected an ditto on the way out.

No body, all eyewitnesses gone, a large # of Seal Team 6 killed off. How convenient.

And a small but highly restricted area on Gitmo.

Exactly. The author is misguidedly trying to be kind or give the benefit of the doubt. I have no doubts about 0vomit.

Don’t forget the “burial at sea” so that we have no evidence of a body.

BOTH OBAMA AND OSAMA HAD
FRIENDS WHO BOMBED THE PENTAGON

_________________________________________________________

From HumanEvents.com, April 29, 2008:
"By all accounts, he [Obama friend and associate, Bill Ayers] was a ferocious, violent, revolutionary Marxist in his halcyon days as a Weatherman leader. He and his Weatherman bombers were enamored of Ho Chi Minh, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, Mao Tse-tung -- indeed, all the murderous heroes on the Left. Referring to the Weatherman members in August 1969, he said (according to the FBI): 'We're revolutionary Communists.'

He got off on the group's multiple explosions, too, and discusses them rather lovingly in his memoir.

Ideal Bombing Weather:
'Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon,' he writes (although he concedes it was really a group effort). 'The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.' (p. 256 in the 2003 edition.)

BOTH OBAMA AND OSAMA HAD
FRIENDS WHO WANTED TO BOMB FORT DIX

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
March 6, 1970: "three members of the Weather Underground accidentally killed themselves in a Manhattan townhouse while attempting to build a powerful bomb they had intended to plant at a social dance in Fort Dix, New Jersey -- an event that was to be attended by U.S. Army soldiers. Hundreds of lives could have been lost had the plot been successfully executed."

"The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer's dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
The bomb was packed with nails to inflict maximum casualties upon detonation."

"The bomb preparations have been pointed out by critics of the claim that the Weatherman group did not try to take lives with its bombings.

Harvey Klehr, the Andrew W. Mellon professor of politics and history at Emory University in Atlanta, said in 2003:

"The only reason they were not guilty of mass murder is mere incompetence. I don't know what sort of defense that is."[2]"

2007 Fort Dix attack plot

A group of six radical Islamist[1] men, allegedly plotting to stage an attack on the Fort Dix military base in New Jersey, United States, were arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on May 7, 2007. They were subsequently charged with planning an attack against U.S. soldiers. The alleged aim of the six men was said to be to "kill as many soldiers as possible".[2] Their trial began on October 20, 2008. [3]

Opening arguments were presented on October 20, 2008.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William Fitzpatrick said the defendants were inspired by jihad saying "Their motive was to defend Islam. Their inspiration was Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.
