I think that Trump assured Obama that he wouldn’t go after the Hildebeast. That was probably on top of the fact that Clinton brought a lot of embarrassment to Obama with her criminality.

I am doubtful that any solid assurances were made. I am certain that this was handled very carefully so that Trump has retained his political leverage. That is how he works; that is the art of the deal. Who knows how much compromising will be done by Hillary's allies to keep her pantsuit covered a$$ out from behind bars. What are they willing to give in on to keep her out of prison.
