He makes some good points. We don’t expect Fourth of July fireworks to start with The Grand Finale. I’ll wait and keep my eyes open.
I don’t care about the media. I do care about promises and amnesty.
Arguing that Trump should be a little chicken-sh!t and run and hide like a baby? Ending DAPA was a core campaign promise. If it’s a matter of drafting and approving executive orders taking a few days, I have no problem. But I hope to Heaven (and fully expect) that he’s not the kind of cowardly, spineless wimp you are projecting onto him. (Nothing so far suggests he is!)
I would wait until after confirmation of a real conservative to the Supreme Court, before doing anything that might energize the Dem base.
Re DACA is the least of our concerns. Priority is the convicted and dangerous illegals, drug distributers, gangbangers and the like.
Exactly!...and use our laws as a carrot....We are still excepting immigrants daily.... but... the line forms on the OTHER-SIDE of our borders!!!....
Once they are taught there will be ABSOLUTELY NO LINE JUMPING....the smart ones will race home to get in line (self-deport)....the ones that remain if caught will go on a NO CITIZENSHIP LIST (similar to our No Fly List) and be deported anyway....Make it an easy choice for them.....The only path to citizenship is the 1st rule of citizenship... ....FOLLOW THE LAW!!!
DAPA is dead. DACA expires in 2 year increments provided the applicant is approved for renewal. All Trump has to do is refuse too renew them. In the mean time it’s a powerful carrot to hang over the heads of Dems to get his picks approved.
Yes.
The sooner the better, as far as I’m concerned.
I don’t buy this “wait” narrative.
Bring on the fight. We’re ready.
Oh, and a promise is a promise.
More MAGA rope-a-dope! Patience suggested....Genius at work...

There’s more to it than just yanking the rug out ... I’m ecstatic about 2-3 YUGE wins a day... I just won an unwinnable lawsuit by attacking their weakness one step at a time and never stopping... This is not the time to bring on the outcry this will start... get the team in place , get things up and running independent of the president and then start taking on the bigger and bigger items. THEN when we have 50 YUGE wins in progress you yank DACA and take the attention off of your 50 wins in the process of being implemented.
On the bigger issues Trumps job is to generate a gameplan , sell the idea and after initiation hand it off to the appropriate cabinet member or agency. He will do this so many times in the next 4 years that you will become tired of winning!
.....a GOPe type. now is not the time, how many times have we heard THAT?
*********
There is a huge difference between the GOPe “now is not..” which means NEVER and Trump where the same phrase means next week or month after he gets established and weakens the opposition/press.
The Dems need illegals votes. They want to bring them in, then pay for everything for them so they'll know who to vote for.
The Dems don't care about you or me. We don't vote for them.
The best way to end DAPA is to allow the court, (Judge Hanan), to rule it unconstitutional. He needs to have Session in place first to do that.
Once that is done then he can rescind DACA saying that the court has found DAPA unconstitutional and that DACA is made out of the same cloth.
He backs that up with saying that Congress is he appropriate place for these decisions to be proposed and debated and a bill sent to him, (if Congress wishes to keep a DACA/DAPA policy), at which time he will decide if he will veto it.
>I do like Alinsky-Overload. It has a proven track record with Obamas scandals. But maybe now is not the time.
Turns out you were right and I was wrong. Trump is following the Alinsky-Overload plan to blunt the media’s outrage machine. Good call.
