My son is under the weather so we didn't get together, perhaps soon when he's well.
I just finished a great movie, "Love and Mercy". It's about the up and down, troubled life of musical genius, Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. I've always admired him and loved their music.
Not much happening with me today, just hit a few stores to grocery shop.
Howz about you?
The weather has been “warm” (in the 40’s) for a few days now. But February and March are still to come!
I might sing Tuesday...I hope this nice weather holds. I get bummed out when it gets really cold, and don’t feel much like singing.
Sorry to hear he isn’t feeling well. Hope it isn’t anything serious like the flu. There’s a butt-kicking strain going around.
Pretty quiet day here but there was one highlight. I got to meet the kittens and their momma today. The momma is a SWEET lil girlie, VERY lovable. The kittens are a bit timid and only one, a calico, would come to me. She’s who we’ll bring home tomorrow afternoon and take to the vet Monday. I have a good feeling about the test results being negative and we’ll get the other three Monday afternoon.
We have to be crazy but they’ll be dumped if we don’t take them. No way we’ll let that happen.
Good evening, radu....it sure has been snowing since late last night. Maybe 5 inches now, but it held off long enough for Peg’s plane to leave. Both her flights left a tad early and arrived a tad early. Her hubby and dog were really glad to see her.
Hope you’ve had a nice day and the kitties are behaving.
I'm watching the movie 'Hostel' now, have you seen it?

Wow! That’s more than it looked like in the cams. If it keeps it up, it should make the drive Monday a little easier. Not so slippery with the ice covered.
We’re still wondering how much snow we’ll get tomorrow or if we’ll get any at all. They’re STILL changing the forecast with every newscast. Waiting to see what they come up with on the 10:00 news.
Sounds like Peg had some good luck with her trip home. Nice to be early rather than delayed. I imagine her hubby and pooch agree. :-)
A quiet day here. Just a little housework and I did go next door to meet the kittehs we’re adopting from Hubby’s cousin.
Our herd are pretty quiet tonight. Maybe they remember the ruckus we subjected them to last night via YouTube. LOL!
I’ll snap a pic to post of the one we bring home tomorrow. She has a darling face. When she looked at me this afternoon, the name Arabelle popped into mind as if she told me that was her name. So it will be. One name down, three to go. LOL! Maybe the others will “tell” me their names too. If not, I’ll just wait and name them according to their personalities.
Oh, forgot to answer your question. duh! Typing while watching tv doesn’t work well.
I’ve heard of “Hostel” but haven’t seen it. Isn’t it a sort of horror type movie? I could be thinking of something else.
Oh yeah, ‘Hostel’ and ‘Hostel 2’ are bloody, gory, just like my fav TV show, ‘The Walking Dead’ :-)
Howdy, radu! Glad you got to meet the kittens and their mom...and I look forward to seeing Arabella’s picture. I love calicos!
Ok, I’m thinking of the right movies and that’s why I haven’t watched them. I’m not into the gorror movies nearly as much as good horror movies. Leave a little something to the imagination, please. LOL
The one you watched earlier about Brian Wilson sounds like a good one. I like the Beach Boys music even now.
Howdy there, LUV!
I figured I’d better check the cats out since we’re going to take them in. They’re all beautiful. The momma is orange and white, one of the really timid ones is white with creamy yellow spots and blue eyes, and the other is cream colored and long-haired. No idea if they’re male or female.
Arabella is just a little doll. She was timid at first but got brave when she saw her momma crawling all over me, getting lots of lovin’.
Not sure how things will go with 4 newbies in the house at once. It could be interesting.
It could get a bit crazy! LOL! I know they’ll live long happy lives with you and I’m sure your hubby’s cousin is relieved that you will take them so they’ll be safe!
Sheesh, the best horror movies EVER!
Crazy is probably an understatement! LOL! I think the two who are so timid will go into the bedroom for a few days until they get used to being inside. There’s a screen door instead of a regular one so they can meet the others through the door. Might put Arabella in there, too, but we’ll see. The momma is outgoing and friendly so we’ll let her meet everyone face-to-face. I’ll be right there to keep an eye on everything.
Hubby’s cousin really doesn’t care where they go. His wife was the one who wanted to take in the momma when she showed up. Now that she’s gone ......
Actually, I’ve suffered through a couple of the “SAW” movies. Mighty rough!!
One that’s pretty gory that I do watch any time I find it on tv is “13 Ghosts”. Another I like is called “The Cube”, I think. Haven’t run across that one in a while.
But I do prefer those that leave something to the imagination. More “creep factor” to those.
Good evening, Pro, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
I am so enjoying this winning, and the whining....LOL!
They just don’t get it!! My favorite is the enemedia...so stupid and such liars.
