TV isn’t all that interesting. I can summarize the DC Comics TV shows like this.

Arrow: killed his girlfriend so now he’s going for the secretary

Flash:Time Travel ex Machina

Legends of Tommorrow: travelling all over time and not sure what to do since we killed Vandal savage

Supergirl : Jimmy Olsen stole James Harper’s identity, Supergirl kills, and Jimmy is an annoying date crasher.

And we can’t ignore there would also be a wise, quiet, tolerant Black female. . .

True and I forgot about that one. I guess I didn’t think of it because it didn’t involve any “love” scenes between the two and it was a one-sided thing for the Penguin.

It does suck hollywood has to inject their sick perverted ways on the general public but as Gay stuff goes I don’t the Gotham rises to the level of the overt stuff Supergirl and Shadowhunters does.... yet.

This crap is just indoctrination and propaganda, nothing more. Brainwash kids before they even have the critical thinking skills to deal with it. My daughter doesn’t wretch when she sees two women kissing because she learned it, she know inherently it’s not normal. They are trying to simply recondition natural reality.

Never watched Arrow

Legends of Tomorrow has always been weak just from its premise.

Flash as well is poorly written and every season seems to lose its way further and further. The current season just seems completely lost.

Supergirl, other than a lesbian reference in the pilot, had been okay and my daughter enjoys the show.. I saw the gay angle coming before they even put it out publicly... so sadly nearly any scene with Montoya in it, or the sister getting ready to explain or go on a diatribe instantly gets skipped (DVR) 30 second skips quickly pass over that crap without expose my child to their propaganda. We have relatives who are homosexual, so it’s not that she is unaware of this stuff but I am not letting the sodomites indoctrinate my daughter with their propaganda.

These forced gay characters are pointless... bad enough you have to wedge some incidental and irrelevant character in and make some excuse for us to know they are gay (flash). Even worse when you take an existing character in the universe and just decide let’s make them gay.

Sadly the comics themselves are just as bad these days. The newest green lanterns just need killed.. both are pointless and the storylines of the hothead has been done before and far better with Guy Gardner... and the Chick with anxiety being a lantern is just a crutch for pointlessness.

Kyle Rainer taught them nothing, they just keep trying to shove more PC into their universe and Adding another green lantern that just happens to be the PC cause of the month is stupid.

I stopped bothering with Marvel and DC in the early 2000s, they lost their luster for sure by that point. Red Son and Hush were the last big DC titles for me, followed by JSA since that had a golden age Superman, or at least one like him who was widowed. Marvel lost me because they got stuck on big team up events like Civil War and there was so little for individual characters like Spider-Man. Movies are the only thing that I follow now, and that is mostly just Captain America and the upcoming Batman.

I faded out of comics tried the new 52... was terrible.. dropped back out.. been trying again since Rebirth started. Rebirth is far superiority New 52 which never made any sense... we’all just ignore 70 years of history... well sorta maybe sometimes...

Rebirth has been better with some books better than others.

I used to read a lot of comics in the late 50s and early 60s. The local grocer would let me swap out comics for free as long as I kept them in excellent condition.

After that, I pretty much gave up on them except for the occasional “Classic Comics” in order to write a college book report.

I recall seeing a local kid wearing an “Incredible Hulk” T shirt around 1968 and wondering who he was.

Today’s comics would probably make me sick.

That’s cool. I just guess I got my fill. All the more to you. I pretty much have gone into trying other fiction right now. I am almost tempted that there is a sequel to The Dark Knight Returns, but that can wait. Enjoy.

Today’s comics are incredibly predictable, with big groups of superheroes teaming up at least once every year at Marvel and DC. The big characters have other spinoff characters and well, on average, less character focus. I personally found movies more interesting than the comic books nowadays, or even sci-fi novels such as The Dune Books.

“Burn Notice” was the last show I watched regularly. I have the entire series on DVD. It really didn’t push any political agenda and didn’t have any gay characters. Well, Barry the money launderer was a metrosexual, but he was straight. All in all, it was just an entertaining action show.

I watched about two episodes when it first came on, it was okay and the girl playing her was super cute. So they went Lesbo? Wow who was she with, Wonder Woman?

I have run into a few shows that were promising, then they would add some gay sub-plot that had nothing to do with the main plot and I would just give up.

I can’t think of any MSM show I watch now or care about.

At least season 1 still had some conservative messages to go by, such as a promotion of national borders (the DEO was essentially the show’s version of the ICE. There’s definitely no way season 1 would have been made today for that reason alone, especially when they went all alien friendly and all of that), not to mention Cat Grant was shown to not only have a baby instead of an abortion, but was explicitly shown to have regretted choosing her career over being a mom to said child, with Kara even suggesting she see her bastard son and catch up with him. I can tell you this much: feminists would utterly HATE the idea of a woman thinking there’s something more satisfying than a paying career, especially if that something is being a mother. Heck, the season finale for Season 1 even had as part of Project Meridia the brainwashed masses repeating Democrat Party lines/liberal-socialist rhetoric.

Now, Season 2 onward, that was definitely pure liberal trash.

Yeah, they do (and they at times completely randomly change a character’s sexual orientation despite never even ONCE being hinted to be gay or anything like that. Alex is a particularly infamous example of this regarding the CW DC lineup [as nowhere in Season 1 was it ever implied that she had ANY attraction to the same sex], and for other series that are guilty of doing this, there’s Claire Bennet from Heroes, who in the final season, they made her enter an implied lesbian relationship in College, even though all prior seasons indicated that she was straight). And yes, apparently the whole aspect of gaying up the superheroes in the CW lineup was the idea of Greg Berlanti, who is a very openly gay man and thought superheroes resonated with him simply because they were “different”, tried to push his agenda.

Sometimes, I think we should bring back the blacklistings from the 1950s. At least there, it would halt the far left control over media, as well as their rather rich statements of claiming freedom of expression.

Did they ever explain how Supergirl has Pierced Ears?

Was there a Needle made of Kryptonite at the Earring Kiosk at the Mall she shops at?
