Posted on 02/04/2017 5:18:58 AM PST by george76
A self-described radical Muslim man, Joshua Cummings, 37, who was on the FBIs terror watch list, is accused of murdering in cold blood a Christian pastor of over 30 years, Pastor Scott Von Lanken, who was working as a contract security officer for the Regional Transportation District (RTD) in the Denver, CO, area to make ends meet when he was brutally executed by being shot in the back of the head.
Police told Fox 31 Denver that jihadist materials were found inside a backpack at the time of Cummings arrest after security camera footage helped track him down.
Scott Von Lanken, 56, was married and has two daughters. Von Lanken, of Loveland, was a former pastor at a church in Loveland.
Police chief Robert White said officers have been warned to be vigilant in case Pastor Von Lanken was targeted because he was wearing a dark blue uniform resembling those worn by police officers.
As of Thursday, Cummings Twitter account is still published at the time of this writing and is filled with posts of Islamist propaganda, most leading to his now-suspended Facebook page for further comment.

The Enemedia is trying to hide the truth.
Even hsving a watch list is a joke. Nobody is being watched.
It’s started. Game on.
I guess the muzzie didn’t get the message that Love Trumps Hate.
Liberals that want that evil cult brought here are partly responsible for this because they’re so damned stupid.
“Its started. Game on.”
It started a long time ago. The question is when are We the People, going to stop sitting on our hands, and DO something about it?
How can this be? This must be false news...all lies. Our “leaders” reassure us all the time that moozlums are peaceful and peace-loving. Our “leaders” wouldn’t lie to us...would they?
U got dat write.
The new Feds under Sessions should snatch this case right away, give him a speedy trial, and execute him — just to establish the new rules (i.e., “we’re gonna follow the law from now on”).
Obama owns this.
Unfortunately, it's not just liberals who are stupid. There are far too many good meaning moderates and even some Conservatives who are either indifferent or who've bought into pro-Islam propaganda.
Hopefully, America will wake up to the dangers of Islam before it's too late. We should see France as the canary in the coal mine. I.e., the canary is dying.
Looking forward to seeing this reported on CNN.</sarc>
Where i come from as well as where i now live, there are more guns than refrigerators. i will not comment on an open forum as to what i have or don’t have, although if i DID have anything, it would be perfectly legal.
All that aside though, i don’t see the bad guys paying a visit to a congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church any time soon. We’re not known to be very nice people, and not really very “tolerant”.
Muslims on the terror watch list should be supplied with a readily identifiable security mark: a 9mm or larger caliber “beauty mark” on the forehead centered 1.5” above the bridge of the nose...
This happened Wednesday, Feb. 1. The article has a link to a donation page for his widow and kids, in a red paragraph 2/3rds of the way down.
Fake news headline. He didn’t murder a guy for being apastor. He murdered a guy for being a security guard. The lying press is no better when it is anti-jihadi than when it is pro-jihadi.
Yes, I am calling the writer of the headline a lying propagandist.
You were misled by the headline. They guy was an ex-cop working as a security guard when he was shot. He had done some church work for part of his career, but had been working for a private security company for a couple of years.
No, i wasn't.
Perhaps you should re-read the first paragraph in the article where the man's location and job at the time of the shooting was clearly stated, as well as the sentence in the article where his dark blue uniform was mentioned.
There's fake news, and then there's poor reading comprehension.
