They tried to say an illegal alien has a nice scenic journey to peace and prosperity. HA! They didn’t show the violence, rapes, killing, or the fact that once here the illegal alien violates US laws of all sorts.

I’ve met Joe, and I am sure he would have said, in the most direct language possible, that this was a very stupid idea.
But the money purchasing materials comes from developers etc. and I would imagine more than a few of them are looking for new supply sources.
Saw the entire video.
They show the struggle of crossing some dangerous lands only to arrive at a great wall.(as they should).
But, there is as door for them to enter through.
It probably has two meanings and I think it wouod be difficult to thread a needle that speaks to all of us and not subject themselves to a ridiculous boycott from the rabid left.
Sure, our side will generally see this ad as pandering but, I don’t think it is.
It does show that struggle and determination to get to America and there is a wall but, there is a door for them to pass through.
I do think they should have at least given three knocks at the door.
Very well done and while I understand the imperative of why they come to America, we need to build a front door (just like the ad) to give them legal entry into America and make them lawful residents.
The Mexican people are coming to improve the lives of their loved ones and if they came through the front door, they too would be protected, like the rest of us.
There is nothing special about a Chinese or Indian worker.
Mexicans can do the same jobs, just as any Korean or even someone Africa.
We should build that wall, increase worker permits and H1B visas and develop training programs in Mexico that enable more of them to successfully integrate into our workforce and society.
We could then reduce H1B visas for China and India.
This would strengthen the Americas and our natural ties.
Hard for me to boycott ‘cause I didn’t shop there.
WHY THEY GET PAID THE BIG BUCKS

"We have $10 million dollars to spend on a 90 second Super Bowl commercial."
"Should we use it to explain who we are and why people should buy our products?"
"Or should we use it to air a pro-illegal alien lecture and piss off half of our potential customers?"
Crappy 84 Lumber contractor forgot to put locks on the door.
The commercial showed a mother and daughter journeying across Mexico. No mention of them sitting for several years at home in their country of origin, waiting their turn in the quota line to immigrate legally.
Wouldn’t a bribe involve money?
I was thinking it would be nice if she submitted an application in the form of a note, and was given the key to enter legally. But maybe that’s just me.

I should have put an /s tag on my comment. It's just my warped sense of humor.
Perhaps the clearest symbolic portrayal would be to have them knock on the door and have it answered by an immigration officer with forms to fill out.
Take the legal path, respect the laws of the country of your dreams.
Yes, but now it’s getting late. I’m tired, and in pain. So my new fantasy ending is just plain mean. Rather than share it, and bring everyone down, I think I’ll go get my beauty sleep, so I can wake up in the morning as Little Miss Sunshine!
