Conservative blogger, Michael Strickland, a former contributor at The Gateway Pundit and Progressives Today, was jailed in Portland, Oregon in July of 2016 after he pulled a gun on a gang of thugs who were going to attack him at a black lives matter protest.
In 2015 Michael was jumped by an anti-gun activist who broke his arm in three places at an anti-Second Amendment event.
Victoria Taft reported on Mr. Strickland’s 21 count felony indictment which you can read in full here.
Strickland, 37, was found guilty of 10 counts of unlawful use of a weapon, 10 counts of menacing and one count of second-degree disorderly conduct.

On the other hand, I find it easy to believe that the “victims” lied through their teeth. It is a standard leftist activist tactic.

In Oregon? I'm surprised he wasn't sentenced to death.
I was last in Portland in the summer of 1965. At the time, it was a vibrant, prosperous and safe city.
In other words, a substantial majority of Portlanders — 74 percent — consider themselves to be liberal on social issues, compared with 35 percent of the rest of the region and 36 percent of the rest of the state.
The video didn’t show that the protesters were actually attacking him, which is why he felt the need to show he was armed, & then finally pull the gun out.
Strickland has been doing in Oregon what James O’Keefe does. But if you’re going to put yourself in harm’s way like that, just be prepared to take the beating. This is what happens when you defend yourself in OR.
Time to give some pot heads life sentences.
Apparently the number of counts relate to the number of thuggers assaulting the man.
Actual chimps have more worth than such feral scum.
Get out of the Communist west coast. There is no freedom there, no matter what the Bill of Rights says. Find a state in the Real America and enjoy life there.

Getting a sickening feeling that this is how libs will fight any pro-carry laws that are passed in the future; namely, if you use a gun to defend yourself, you WILL be charged with murder, disorderly conduct, menacing, etc., automatically, no matter if you had a right to carry, which is a separate issue.
The Soviet Northeast is now joined by the Soviet Northwest.
I was stationed at Fort Lewis 1966 & thought of moving to Portland after my service. Glad I didn’t.
Not anymore. Call it Seattle South.
